Sturdy Office Chair Chassis

Admin October 11, 2026

Sturdy and durable office chair chassis mainly come in three types: dual-spring chassis, small-recline dual-fiberglass chassis, and explosion-proof chassis.

Dual-spring chassis: Some office chair companies have independently designed this to enhance seat comfort. It offers more functional adjustment features, such as adjusting the recline force via a joystick, adjusting the seat depth, and integrating multiple operations onto a single control lever, making it more convenient to use. This design improves the issue of uneven recline resistance, providing users with a smoother recline experience. However, it also has certain limitations and has not completely solved the problem of users of different weights being unable to 'recline easily or get up easily'. For lighter users, the recline force may be too strong, making it difficult to recline; for heavier users, getting up may feel more resistant and not as easy.

Small-recline dual-fiberglass chassis: This is a commonly used chassis technology in current high-end ergonomic office chairs abroad. It replaces torsion springs with a fiberglass chassis, resulting in more balanced elasticity and effectively solving the issue of uneven recline resistance. Taking the Sihoo C500 II as an example, it uses a self-developed dual-fiberglass space chassis. When reclining, the seat cushion does not tilt upward, and there is no displacement in the waist and neck areas, providing users with more stable and comfortable support that conforms to ergonomic principles, allowing users to feel more relaxed during use.

Explosion-proof chassis: It acts as a sturdy shield for the chair, offering extremely high safety. Even in the event of an accident, such as an explosion of the gas lift, the chair will not suddenly collapse, ensuring the user's personal safety. Moreover, the explosion-proof chassis is reasonably designed, allowing for even distribution of the user's body weight, reducing pressure on local body parts, and making it less likely to feel fatigued during prolonged use, providing users with a safe and comfortable office environment.
