Sedentary Office Chair Installation
The installation of a sedentary office chair typically involves the following steps, with specific operations adjusted according to the model:

1. Install the chair base and wheels Insert each wheel into the assembly holes of the chair base one by one, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and not loose. For some models (such as the Sihoo C300), you may need to first confirm the type of wheels (such as silent wheels or brake wheels) and then install them according to the corresponding holes.
2. Install the gas lift Place the thicker end of the gas lift vertically against the center hole of the chair base, ensuring a flat contact surface. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height. During installation, avoid tilting or applying excessive force to prevent damage to the internal structure.
3. Install the seat plate and seat
- Method 1: Place the seat plate at the bottom of the seat, align the screw holes, and then screw in the screws one by one (for example, the K05pro requires the use of four tray screws). Pay attention to the orientation of the seat plate (usually marked with 'front' or 'back' indicators) to avoid installing it backward and affecting functionality.
- Method 2: For some models (such as the Sihoo C300), you first need to fix the seat plate to the seat bracket with screws and then connect other components.
4. Connect the seat to the gas lift Align the hole at the bottom of the seat's seat plate with the top of the gas lift and insert it, ensuring it is fully seated. For some models, you need to press down vertically on the seat until you hear a 'click' sound, indicating that it is installed in place.
5. Install the backrest
- Method 1: Insert the two sides at the bottom of the backrest into the installation positions on the seat armrests. First, use screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, and then lock the installation holes at the back of the backrest and the seat brackets (as described in the general steps).
- Method 2: Use screws and washers to connect the backrest to the tail plate of the seat plate (such as the Sihoo C300), paying attention to adjusting the tilt angle of the backrest to meet the design requirements.
6. Install the armrests
- Method 1: Press the button below the armrest surface, insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, and then release the button to confirm that the buckles are fixed.
- Method 2: First, use screws and washers to connect the armrests to the back connecting rods (such as the Sihoo C300), which is suitable for models with adjustable armrests.
7. Install the headrest and additional components
- Headrest: Align the headrest with the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the installation area to make it fit, and use screws to pass through the fixed buckles and tighten them (as in the general steps); or directly insert it into the back of the chair and fix it with screws (such as the Sihoo C300).
- Footrest: For some models (such as the Sihoo C300), you need to use footrest screws to connect the footrest to the seat cushion. Before installation, confirm that the direction of the footrest is correct.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check the parts list (for example, the K05pro requires confirming seven steel plate screws and two headrest screws) to avoid omissions.
- When tightening the screws, tighten them in stages and crosswise to prevent component deformation.
- After installation, check the mobility of each component (such as the lifting of the gas lift, the tilting of the backrest, and the adjustment of the armrests) to ensure normal functionality.
