Roller Office Chair Installation

Admin October 12, 2026

The installation steps for a roller office chair are as follows:

1. Install wheels on the five-star base Insert the wheels into the five-star base. Some models may require a bit of pressure, while others may need to be screwed in. For example, the F03 hollowed-out roller chair requires the five rollers to be inserted diagonally into the five-star base one by one. Shaking the wheels left and right can assist in installation and reduce difficulty.

2. Install the gas lift cap and gas lift After the wheels are installed, flip the five-star base over and place the gas lift into the central hole. Note that the gas lift cap should be removed in advance to avoid interfering with the installation. For the F03 hollowed-out roller chair, lightly press the gas lift after inserting it into the five-star base, then align it with the round hole on the back of the chair's tray and insert it.

3. Install the seat base Place the seat cushion flat on a clean surface. When installing the seat base, pay attention to the directional markings to ensure the screw holes are aligned before tightening the screws. The seat base, as the core component connecting the seat cushion and the gas lift, must be installed securely.

4. Install the gas lift and seat cushion After the seat base is fixed, align the seat cushion with the top of the gas lift and insert it into the hole on the seat base. Keep the seat cushion level during this step to prevent the gas lift from tilting, which could lead to instability during subsequent use.

5. Install the armrests Taking the F03 hollowed-out roller chair as an example, the longer side of the armrest is the contact surface. Align the holes on the longer side with the backrest and the holes on the shorter side with the seat cushion. After snapping them in, secure them with the provided screws. Note the distinction between screw types: shorter screws are used to connect the armrests to the backrest, while longer screws are used to connect the armrests to the seat cushion. Tighten them sequentially with a wrench.

6. Install the backrest Before installing the backrest, temporarily do not tighten the screws on the armrests to allow for hole adjustment. Place the backrest on the seat cushion, align the holes on the backrest with those on the armrests, install the bottom screws (temporarily do not tighten), then lift the backrest and install the top screws. Finally, tighten all the screws. This step requires multiple people to collaborate to prevent the backrest from tipping over.

7. Overall inspection and decoration Check that all screws are tightened and ensure there are no loose components. Install the armrest decorative caps to complete the final assembly. Different models may have varying accessories. For example, the Q8 roller chair requires four fine extended screws (6x35) and three thick extended screws (8x30), among others. Verify the accessory list according to the instruction manual.

Precautions:

  1. Clean the floor before installation to avoid losing small parts;
  2. Control the force when using tools to prevent scratching the chair surface;
  3. Regularly check the tightness of the screws to extend the chair's service life.
