Reticulated Office Chair Cleaning

Admin October 12, 2026

The cleaning of reticulated (mesh) office chairs can be carried out according to the following steps:

First, do a good job of dust removal. Use a vacuum cleaner to fully suck away the dust on the surface of the reticulated office chair. The vacuum cleaner can roughly absorb dust particles and effectively remove most of the dust attached to the surface. If there is no vacuum cleaner, you can first use tools such as a feather duster to deal with the dust, shaking off the relatively loose dust on the surface to prepare for the subsequent cleaning work.

Second, spray the cleaning agent. Dilute the cleaning agent according to the appropriate ratio, or you can directly pour it into a watering can, and then evenly spray the cleaning agent on the office chair. The choice of cleaning agent should be determined according to the material of the reticulated office chair and the type of stains to ensure that it can effectively remove stains without causing damage to the office chair.

Next, let the cleaning agent take effect. Let the cleaning agent stay on the office chair for a while. The duration depends on the stubbornness of the stains, generally ranging from a few minutes to more than ten minutes. During this time, the cleaning agent will penetrate into the fibers, making the stains detach from the fibers, thus achieving a better cleaning effect.

Then, perform extraction cleaning or scrubbing. If you have a sauna machine and a high-temperature cleaning machine, you can use them alternately and perform at least two extraction cleanings to more thoroughly remove stains and cleaning agent residues. If you don't have these electrical equipment, you can use a soft brush to gently scrub the office chair. Note that the force of the brush should be moderate to avoid damaging the reticulated surface.

After that, do a good job of drying. While cleaning the office chair, use a water absorber to suck dry the washed office chair to speed up the drying process. You can also turn on the office chair dryer or use a hair dryer to assist in drying, but be careful not to blow at it for too long to avoid high-temperature damage to the office chair.

Finally, perform protection treatment. You can put a cover on the cleaned office chair. This can not only protect the office chair and prevent dust from attaching again but also make it more aesthetically pleasing.
