Qian'an Office Chair Testing
Admin October 09, 2026
Although Qian'an office chair testing does not directly involve regional information, it generally covers aspects such as mechanical performance, stability, material safety, ergonomic adaptability, impact, and special function testing.

- Mechanical Performance Testing: This is a crucial step in evaluating the durability of office chairs. It includes seat durability testing, which simulates the pressure the seat endures during long-term use, such as the EN1335 standard requiring the chair seat to withstand 100,000 vertical pulse loads at a frequency of 30 times per minute; backrest fatigue testing, where the backrest must complete 50,000 backward-tilting cycles with a load of 350 Newtons; armrest vertical and horizontal loading tests to check the stability of the armrests under forces in different directions; base rotation durability testing for chairs with rotation functions to assess the durability of the rotating mechanism; and caster wear tests to simulate the wear of casters when rolling on the ground and ensure their service life.
- Stability Testing: This mainly evaluates the chair's anti-tipping ability when subjected to forces at different angles. It includes front-tilt, back-tilt, and lateral stability tests. For example, the EN1335 standard requires that when an office chair simulates a user applying forces forward, backward, and sideways, the chair's tilt angle must not exceed the designed critical value to ensure the safety of the user.
- Material Safety Testing: This focuses on the chemical and physical indicators of the materials used in office chairs. Chemical indicators include formaldehyde emission, heavy metal content, and flame retardancy to ensure that the materials do not pose a hazard to human health. Physical indicators include the color fastness and abrasion resistance of leather and textile fabrics to guarantee the quality and durability of the materials.
- Ergonomic Adaptability Testing: Through adjustment function tests, such as height adjustment, tilt force adjustment, and armrest adjustment, as well as pressure distribution tests, it verifies the product's adaptability to users of different body types, enabling the office chair to provide a comfortable user experience.
- Impact Testing: This includes vertical impact testing, horizontal impact testing, and dynamic fatigue impact testing to simulate the impacts that an office chair may encounter during daily use, evaluate its structural strength and stability, and ensure that it will not be damaged or pose a danger when subjected to external impacts.
- Special Function Testing: For office chairs with rotation functions or reclining capabilities, rotation mechanism durability tests and reclining function tests are also required. For example, the rotation mechanism must withstand 20,000 cycles of rotation with a torque of 35 Newton-meters to test the reliability of its special functions.
