Office Chair Return Policy

Admin October 09, 2026

Whether an office chair can be returned if it breaks depends on the specific circumstances.

I. Within 7 Days of Sale If an office chair develops performance issues within 7 days of sale, such as wheels that do not slide properly, a backrest adjustment function that fails, or a seat that collapses, affecting normal use, and the consumer requests a return, the seller shall be responsible for a free return and refund the full purchase price in one lump sum based on the invoice. This is in accordance with relevant consumer protection regulations, ensuring that consumers receive quality-compliant products at the time of purchase and have the right to return the product and receive a full refund if it has performance issues.

II. During the Warranty Period During the warranty period, if the office chair meets the conditions for replacement but the seller does not have the same model and specification available for replacement, or if the consumer prefers not to exchange it and requests a return, the seller shall grant the return. However, for used products, the seller will charge a depreciation fee according to the specified depreciation rate. The depreciation rate is usually calculated based on factors such as the product's usage time and original price, aiming to reasonably compensate the seller for the value loss incurred due to the product's use.

III. Situations Not Covered by the Warranty Service The following situations are not covered by the warranty service, but paid repairs may be available:

  • Damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or storage by the consumer: For example, if the consumer exerts excessive force during use, causing the chair legs to break, or fails to maintain the office chair according to the instructions, resulting in rust or wear, the seller is not responsible for the warranty in such cases.
  • Damage caused by disassembly by non-warranty repairers: If the consumer independently seeks non-designated repair personnel to disassemble or repair the office chair, resulting in new faults or damage, the seller is not responsible for the warranty.
  • Lack of warranty certificate and valid invoice: The warranty certificate and valid invoice are important evidence to prove the purchase time of the product and eligibility for warranty service. If the consumer cannot provide them, the seller has difficulty determining whether the product is within the warranty scope and thus does not provide warranty service.
  • Mismatch or alteration of the model on the warranty certificate and the repaired product: This prevents the seller from accurately determining the true condition of the product and affects the normal provision of warranty service.
  • Damage caused by force majeure: Damage to the office chair caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes or floods is not covered by the warranty.
