Office Chair Production and Manufacturing
The production and manufacturing process of office chairs mainly includes the following steps:

First, bottom frame fabrication is carried out. Workers use hydraulic-powered machines to bend steel tubes into shapes that meet design requirements, thereby creating the frame for the bottom cushion. Fine processing is performed at the connection ends of the frame, and steel bars are welded in the middle. These steel bars play a crucial role in supporting the mechanism for adjusting the seat position, laying the foundation for the realization of subsequent seat functions.
Next is the installation of the seat suspension system. S-shaped steel springs are carefully hung from the front to the back of the seat frame. These wave-shaped springs work together to eventually form an elastic net in the seat. This elastic net not only increases the elasticity of the seat but also provides additional stability and support, making users more comfortable and at ease when sitting.
Then comes the construction of the back frame. Based on precise drawings, welding operations are carried out on the backrest frame of the seat. This process requires strict control to ensure welding quality. The backrest frame includes lumbar supports, armrest areas, and other accessories. The design and installation of these components directly affect the comfort and functionality of the office chair.
After that is the processing of leather and foam. The leather is laid flat on a cutting table, and patterns required for the seat are precisely cut according to pre-designed templates. At the same time, the filling foam is cut according to the shape of the leather. It is worth noting that the density of the seat foam is not constant. Harder foam is used for the seat cushion to maintain the shape of the seat and extend its service life, while softer foam is chosen for the backrest to enhance user comfort.
Subsequently is the stitching of leather and foam. The processed leather and foam are stitched together. Folds are pinched at special positions according to design requirements to form decorative thread patterns. Stitching is carried out separately for the seat backrest, side panels, and contour covers to ensure that each part meets design requirements, with a beautiful appearance and reliable quality.
Finally, seat assembly is performed. A layer of cardboard is added to the backrest frame, followed by a layer of foam, and then covered with a leather cover. A sliding plate assembly is installed to adjust the seat cushion position. Then, a hydraulic cylinder is installed. It can not only adjust the seat height but also enable 360-degree rotation. The hydraulic cylinder is connected to an aluminum base, and casters are inserted to allow the seat to move flexibly. Finally, a headrest and armrests are installed on the backrest to further enhance the comfort and practicality of the office chair. In addition, office chair manufacturing needs to pass certification tests for frame strength, foam density, and pneumatic rods. Some products also adopt innovative designs such as intelligent lumbar support systems and heat therapy technology.
