Multiple Adjustments of Office Chairs
Office chairs offer a variety of adjustment methods, mainly including height adjustment, backrest recline adjustment, armrest adjustment, as well as other adjustments and precautions. Here are the details:

Height Adjustment
Look for the hand control device. Pull up the corresponding control lever or turn the knob to adjust the height. For some pneumatic models, repeatedly push the lever up and down to raise or lower the seat. When adjusting the seat height, there are several reference standards. From a comfort perspective, you can adjust the seat to a comfortable position. Alternatively, you can start from a standing position and adjust so that the front of the chair is just below your knees, with your feet flat on the ground. When working on a computer, keep your eyes level with the monitor, which can be achieved by adjusting the seat height. For desk work, keep your elbows at desk height. When sitting for long periods, adjust the chair height so that your feet are flat on the floor.
Backrest Recline Adjustment
After sitting on the office chair, find the adjustment handle. Pull the handle, lean back slightly with your back, and release the handle to fix the angle. If you want to return to the original position, continue pulling the handle and lean back slightly, and the backrest will spring back. The lever for flattening the backrest is usually located under the right armrest. To adjust the front-to-back rocking range, rotate the black cylinder in front of the chair's gas cylinder.
Armrest Adjustment
If the chair is equipped with armrests, you can adjust their height. If you don't need arm support, you can remove the armrests or lower them to prevent them from obstructing your knees from sliding under the desk.
Other Adjustments and Precautions
Change your sitting position every 15 - 30 minutes, such as briefly leaning forward, returning to an upright position, or slightly changing the weight distribution on the chair to reduce physical fatigue. If the chair is too high, prepare a footrest, slide it under the desk, and place your feet on it to keep your feet comfortable. When purchasing an office chair, pay attention to several aspects. Generally, ergonomic chairs are equipped with headrests for convenient napping. The seat cushion materials come in two types: sponge and mesh, with mesh having better breathability. An S-shaped backrest provides support for the lower back. The armrests of ergonomic chairs can sometimes be raised or lowered or adjusted in other ways. The pneumatic rod should have a safety certification to ensure safe use.
