Office Chair Field Testing
Office chair field testing can be carried out from six dimensions: appearance adaptation, fabric performance, ergonomic support, adjustability, safety, and after-sales service. The specific testing points are as follows:

1. Appearance and Space Adaptability Testing
The office chair needs to be placed in different scenarios (such as open-plan offices, executive offices, and home environments) for visual adaptability assessment. For example, the Jingyi POLY chair adopts an integrated geometric design with a monochromatic system and is paired with a variety of vibrant colors, which can break the monotony of space and create a relaxed atmosphere in open-plan offices; while traditional dark leather chairs are more suitable for the solemn style of executive offices. The testing should focus on whether the chair's size is in harmony with the space proportion, as well as the matching degree of color and shape with the overall decoration style.
2. Core Fabric Process Testing
By comparing the breathability, elasticity, and durability of different fabrics (such as knitted fabric and traditional mesh fabric), their applicable scenarios are evaluated. Knitted fabric, due to its high weaving density, has better breathability than traditional mesh fabric and recovers its elasticity faster, making it suitable for long-term office work; while traditional mesh fabric has lower costs but is prone to deformation due to long-term weight bearing. The testing should use professional instruments to measure data such as fabric air permeability and tensile strength, and make a comprehensive judgment based on actual usage experience.
3. Ergonomic Support Testing
The focus is on testing lumbar support, seat cushion firmness, and backrest fit. High-quality chairs are usually equipped with three-zone floating or self-adaptive lumbar supports, which can dynamically fit the lumbar spine and the muscles on both sides, reducing fatigue from prolonged sitting; the backrest should have zone-specific support functions (upper back supporting the shoulders, middle back stabilizing the spine, and independent lumbar support), and the seat cushion depth should match the leg length to ensure the thighs are naturally relaxed. The testing can assess the support effect by simulating different sitting postures (such as leaning forward for work and leaning back for rest).
4. Adjustability Testing
It is necessary to verify whether the chair supports multi-dimensional adjustments, including seat depth, armrest height/angle, and headrest height/angle. The richer the adjustability functions, the better they can meet the personalized needs of users with different heights and body types. For example, the armrests can be adjusted to be level with the desktop to avoid arm suspension; the headrest should be able to fit the neck curve and provide neck support. The testing should record the damping feel, locking stability, and operational convenience of each adjustable component.
5. Safety and After-sales Testing
Safety testing should check the stability of the chassis (such as the load-bearing capacity of the five-star base) and the certification status of the gas lift (preferably choosing products certified by SGS, TUV, etc.); after-sales testing should focus on the brand's warranty period (usually 3-5 years), the replaceability of accessories (such as whether gas lifts, wheels, and other vulnerable parts are easy to purchase), and the after-sales response speed. For example, the Lianyou Jinhao E offers a 5-year warranty, and its gas lift is certified by BIFMA, indicating high safety.
