Office Chair Elastic Fabric
The commonly used elastic fabrics for office chairs mainly include mesh fabric, genuine leather fabric, and artificial leather (PU leather) three types.

Mesh fabric is one of the most widely applied elastic fabrics for office chairs. Its notable feature is its high elasticity. When a user sits down, the mesh can deform according to the body's pressure, providing a good sense of wrapping and support, effectively dispersing body pressure, and maintaining a comfortable sitting experience for a long time. At the same time, mesh fabric has excellent breathability, allowing air to circulate freely. It can quickly expel the sweat and hot air produced by the human body, avoiding a stuffy feeling and keeping the user dry even in hot summer. In addition, mesh fabric is relatively inexpensive, offering high cost-effectiveness. It is also dirt-resistant and easy to clean. Daily maintenance and care are relatively simple, requiring only a damp cloth for wiping or the use of regular cleaning agents.
Genuine leather fabric gives a high-end and luxurious impression. It has good breathability, allowing air to circulate between the leather surface and the human body, enabling the skin to breathe freely, reducing the feeling of stuffiness and dampness, and is suitable for long-term use in air-conditioned rooms. Genuine leather office chairs have a soft and elastic texture that can conform to the body's curves, providing comfortable support. However, genuine leather fabric has a high cost and is relatively expensive. It also requires more delicate care to avoid scratches and exposure to sunlight to maintain its good appearance and performance.
Artificial leather (PU leather) is also one of the commonly used fabrics for office chairs, especially in broad-sense office chairs such as executive chairs. It has the characteristic of strong breathability, ensuring air circulation and reducing the feeling of stuffiness. At the same time, artificial leather has good resilience and can quickly return to its original shape during use, providing long-lasting support. Compared with genuine leather, artificial leather is more affordable and has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is easy to clean and maintain, making it a cost-effective choice.
