Office Chair and Boss Chair Installation
The installation of office chairs or boss chairs can generally be carried out according to the following steps, with attention to the matching of components and operational specifications:

1. Component Preparation and Inspection
Before installation, ensure that all accessories are complete, including chair legs, casters, gas lift cylinders, bases, seats, backrests, armrests, headrests, and matching screws and tools (such as Allen wrenches). Check each component for damage or deformation, especially the gas lift cylinder, which should be confirmed to have no air leaks and a smooth surface to avoid safety hazards after installation.
2. Install Casters and Chair Legs
Insert each caster into the mounting holes of the chair legs, ensuring that the snaps or threads are fully engaged. Some casters may need to be secured with screws, which should be tightened using the matching tool to prevent loosening. After installation, gently shake the chair legs to confirm that the casters are stable and do not wobble.
3. Assemble Gas Lift Cylinder and Seat
Insert the gas lift cylinder vertically into the center hole of the chair legs, ensuring that the insertion depth reaches the marked line (usually 5-8 centimeters). The top of the gas lift cylinder should be aligned with the mounting hole of the seat base. For some bases, they may need to be pre-fixed to the bottom of the seat with screws. Pay attention to tightening the screws with moderate force to avoid slipping.
4. Connect Backrest and Seat
Align the mounting holes of the backrest with the connectors on the back of the seat and secure them with matching screws or corner brackets. Some designs may require connection via snaps or slide rails, so ensure that the snaps are fully embedded to prevent the backrest from loosening. After installation, gently push the backrest to check the stability of the connection.
5. Install Armrests and Headrest
Armrests are usually fixed to the reserved holes on both sides of the seat with screws, paying attention to left-right symmetry. The installation of the headrest depends on the design, which can be either insert-type or screw-fixed type: for insert-type, align the headrest rod with the top hole of the backrest and press it in forcefully; for screw-fixed type, tighten the screws with a tool to prevent the headrest from tilting.
6. Final Inspection and Adjustment
After installation, check that all screws are tightened and that there are no gaps at the connections between components. Adjust the height of the gas lift cylinder to confirm smooth lifting and lowering; test the reclining function of the backrest (if available) to ensure normal rebound. Finally, sit on the chair and gently shake it to confirm that there are no abnormal noises or looseness in the overall structure.
Precautions:
- Avoid using excessive force during installation, especially at the connections between the gas lift cylinder and the chair legs and seat, to prevent damage to components.
- If any accessories are missing or installation is difficult, contact the merchant promptly for guidance and do not attempt to modify it yourself.
- Children should use the chair under adult supervision to avoid the risk of tipping over due to improper installation.
