Low-Carbon Office Alliance Launched: Yihang and Partners Power a Zero-Carbon Future
On May 27, the 2023 Yihang Global Partner Conference, themed "Chasing the Light, Linking the Future," was held at the Yihang Science and Technology Innovation Park in Hangzhou. At the conference, ten companies โ Yihang, Fenglin Wood, Huafuli Decorative Panels, Kingfa Sci. & Tech., Qiannianzhou Boards, Wanhua Chemical, Xiawang Paper, Sherwin-Williams Coatings, Zhanchen New Materials, and Zhongniu Industry โ jointly founded the Office & Commercial Low-Carbon Alliance and signed the "Office & Commercial Low-Carbon Alliance Declaration" on site.
A Low-Carbon Alliance for a Zero-Carbon Future

Today, in the face of the challenges posed by the global climate crisis, green, low-carbon, sustainable development has become the mainstream consensus worldwide. Industries at home and abroad are converging on the carbon-neutral track, and strengthening carbon management capabilities and comprehensive carbon disclosure is gradually becoming both an opportunity and a challenge for companies.
Guided by the goal of decarbonizing the industry, the Office & Commercial Low-Carbon Alliance actively introduces green carbon-reduction technologies, shares low-carbon experience and achievements, reduces the carbon footprint of its products, helps member companies achieve green transformation and sustainable development, and jointly builds a green, sustainable ecosystem.
1. Innovative Material Selection to Cut the Carbon Footprint

For more than thirty years, Yihang has been committed to building a healthy office ecosystem, insisting on green, environmentally friendly panels โ favoring no-added-formaldehyde boards that carry a built-in safety gene. The panels are more moisture-resistant, durable, and environmentally sound, making the "forest" breath of the office possible.
Together with partners across its industry chain, Yihang focuses on "sustainable materials" โ in particular, the application of bio-based waterborne coatings, biomass sponge, microfiber materials, and recyclable, recoverable materials in office furniture โ to reduce the carbon footprint of its products and support the industry's low-carbon development.
2. Upgraded Processes for Health and Environmental Protection

Upgrading manufacturing processes such as coating and edge banding safeguards environmental protection. After years of dedicated R&D and repeated testing and refinement, Yihang officially launched its 7-PLUS waterborne finishing technology in 2015, switching to water as the thinner to effectively reduce harmful substances.
Yihang has also introduced advanced production lines for efficient, intelligent manufacturing โ such as 3D laser seamless edge banding, where a special laser polymer achieves a seamless bond between the edge band and the panel, keeping furniture looking new for years.
3. Green Buildings for Low-Carbon, Energy-Saving Production

When building its production bases, Yihang set the goal of green manufacturing from the outset, striving to create safe, efficient, energy-saving, low-carbon green manufacturing facilities. Its six ecological campuses worldwide use fair-faced concrete construction and energy-saving doors and windows to effectively reduce construction waste. The green design of workshops brings the outdoors inside โ trees and plants are moved indoors, where vegetation and natural light help regulate the working environment for employees.
Committed to building "transparent factories," Yihang welcomes clients to inspect products at its production bases at any time and see the materials used and the production process for themselves โ making health and environmental protection visible and tangible.

Yihang joins hands with global strategic partners, building an industry-wide Office & Commercial Low-Carbon Alliance to power sustainable development.
