Admin October 12, 2026
The installation steps for installation-type office chairs vary depending on the model. Below are the installation procedures for common models and general installation steps:

TOAI E1 Office Chair
- Install Wheels and Pneumatic Rod: Align the five wheels with the corner holes of the chair and press firmly to secure them. Insert the pneumatic rod vertically into the reserved hole in the middle of the seat, ensuring the bottom fully contacts the base.
- Connect Seat Cushion and Chair Back: Take out the seat cushion and chair back components. Align the connecting rod of the chair back with the slot on the back of the seat cushion. Use three M8 screws to initially secure it, adjust the angle, and then tighten the screws.
- Secure Armrests and Footrest: Align the armrest brackets with the mounting holes on both sides of the seat cushion and secure them with screws. Flip the seat over and fix the armrest on the other side in the same way. Insert the footrest into the dedicated hole at the bottom of the seat cushion, ensuring the buckle is locked.
- Assemble Pneumatic Rod and Headrest: Align the pneumatic rod at the bottom of the seat with the center hole of the base and press it in gently until fully embedded. Insert the headrest into the reserved hole at the top of the chair back and adjust it to a comfortable height.

- Install Ball Bearings and Seat Base: Press the ball bearing components into the corner holes of the chair to ensure smooth rolling. Lay the seat base flat and insert screws from the bottom through the reserved holes for initial fixation.
- Assemble Backrest and Decorative Cover: According to the direction indicated by the arrows on the seat, align the backrest with the connecting slot of the base. Install some screws and then adjust the backrest angle to be vertical. Finally, install the decorative cover to conceal the screw holes.
General Installation Steps
- Install Wheels and Pneumatic Cylinder: Insert the five wheels into the five holes at the corners of the chair respectively. Insert the pneumatic cylinder (pneumatic rod) vertically into the reserved hole in the center of the seat, ensuring the bottom touches the ground.
- Fix Base and Seat Panel: Align the base with the mounting slot at the bottom of the seat panel. Use four long screws to pass through the reserved holes of the seat panel from the bottom of the base and tighten the screws to secure them.
- Connect Chair Back and Seat Cushion: Align the connecting angle brackets of the chair back with the slots on the back of the seat cushion. Use screws to fix the angle brackets, adjust the angle of the chair back, and then tighten the screws.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check that all accessories are complete to avoid missing screws or components.
- When installing the pneumatic rod, keep it vertical to prevent the chair from becoming unstable due to tilting.
- Tighten the screws with an appropriate force to prevent slipping or damaging the components.
- After installation, gently shake the chair to check if all components are firmly connected.
