Installation Method for Computer Chair Covers

1. Pre-installation Preparations

   • Tool Preparation: You need to prepare measuring and cutting tools (such as a tape measure and scissors), cleaning tools (a damp cloth, brush, and adhesive remover), and fastening tools (the hooks, buckles, or elastic bands that come with the chair cover. If the original ones are insufficient, you can supplement with seat cover clips, Velcro, or magnetic patches).
   • Clean the Seat: Wipe the surface of the seat with a damp cloth to ensure there is no dust or stains, and wait for it to dry completely before installation.
   • Select a Chair Cover: Prioritize choosing a style with high-elasticity knitted fabric on all sides, anti-slip design at the bottom, full coverage, and easy cleaning to enhance the fit and durability.

2. Installation Steps

   • Adjust the Seat and Headrest: Adjust the seat to a height that is convenient for operation. If the chair has an independently detachable headrest, remove it first.
   • Put on the Backrest Cover: Align the top of the backrest cover with the top of the chair back, and put it on from top to bottom, smoothing it down with the palm of your hand. If the seat can be reclined, it is recommended to lay it flat for easier operation.
   • Secure the Backrest and Headrest: After aligning the edges, use the reserved straps or hooks on the side of the chair cover to wrap around the side of the chair back and fasten them tightly. Put the headrest cover accurately on the headrest and secure it.
   • Flatten the Seat Cushion: Lay the bottom seat cover flat on the seat cushion to ensure there are no wrinkles or displacements.

1. Pre-installation Preparations

   • Check the Chair Cover: Confirm that the size and shape of the chair cover match the chair, and check for any damage or stitching problems.

2. Installation Steps

   • Determine the Direction: Determine the installation direction according to the markings on the chair cover (such as front-back and up-down indicators).
   • Install by Part
     • Seat Cushion Cover: If the seat cushion is detachable (usually fixed by 4 screws at the bottom), remove the seat cushion first, put on the chair cover, and then refasten the screws.
     • Backrest Cover: Put it on directly from top to bottom on the chair back to ensure complete coverage.
   • Adjust and Secure
     • Gently pull down the chair cover to ensure that all parts are flat and fit well, avoiding local bulges.
     • Fine-tune the edge positions to align the chair cover with the edges of the chair.
     • If the chair cover is designed with ropes, Velcro, or buckles, secure them according to the instructions to prevent slippage during use.
