Fixed Office Chair Height Adjustment
There are three main methods for adjusting the height of a fixed office chair: adjusting via handles, adjusting via fixed screws, and adjusting according to the usage scenario.

Adjusting via handles: This is the most common method of adjustment. There are usually one or two handles located beneath the chair seat. When there is a handle beneath the seat, lifting the handle upwards compresses the high-pressure gas inside the air rod, causing the seat to rise. To lower the chair, turn the handle upwards while lifting yourself slightly onto the chair; this prevents the high-pressure air in the air rod from rebounding, causing the chair to descend. However, the adjustment method may vary slightly depending on the chair model; some models may use a rotating knob instead of a lever. If unsure which lever controls the height, carefully read the chair's instructions or try each lever individually to find the correct adjustment method.
Adjusting via fixed screws: Some swivel chairs have fixed screws at the bottom, making this adjustment method relatively simple and straightforward. Simply loosen the screws, adjust the chair height according to your needs, and then secure the screws again. However, it is important to ensure that the screws are firmly fixed during the adjustment process to prevent instability in the chair height during use.
Adjusting according to the usage scenario: When working on a computer, maintain eye level with the monitor. If the monitor height cannot be adjusted, adjust the seat height to accommodate it, ensuring a good visual experience. When performing desk work, keep your elbows at desk height to provide natural support for your arms and reduce fatigue. When sitting for long periods, adjust the chair height so that your feet rest flat on the floor, helping to maintain balance and stability and reducing leg pressure.
When adjusting the height of an office chair, make reasonable adjustments based on the desk height and your own height to ensure that your eyes are level with the computer screen, the height is appropriate, and it is not too low or too high. This helps maintain good posture and reduces physical discomfort caused by improper sitting posture.
