Fabric Office Chair Installation
The installation of a fabric office chair generally needs to be completed step by step from the bottom up, with core steps including assembling the chair legs, connecting the seat and backrest, installing the armrests and headrest, and paying attention to the direction indicators of components for some models. The specific operations are as follows:

Chair Leg and Caster Installation
The chair legs are usually five-pointed star-shaped metal or plastic structures. First, insert the casters (universal wheels) one by one into the slots or threaded holes of the chair legs. During installation, ensure that the casters rotate flexibly and are firmly fixed to avoid wobbling during use. After completing the caster installation, insert the gas lift (height adjustment column) vertically into the center hole of the chair legs, ensuring that the bottom of the gas lift is fully in contact with the chair legs to provide stable support for the subsequent seat installation.Seat and Base Fixation
The base is a key component connecting the seat and the gas lift, usually equipped with an adjustment handle (used to control height adjustment or recline). Align the base with the screw holes at the bottom of the seat and fix it with the matching screws. Make sure the screws are tightened to prevent the base from separating from the seat. Some bases are designed with anti-slip pads or clips, which should be installed correctly according to the instructions to ensure the stability of the seat.Backrest and Seat Connection
The connection method between the backrest and the seat varies by model, commonly being clip-on or screw-fixed. For the clip-on type, align the slots at the bottom of the backrest with the protrusions at the back of the seat and press firmly until you hear a 'click' sound. For the screw-fixed type, use a screwdriver to align the screw holes on the back of the backrest and the seat and tighten them. After connection, check that the backrest is vertical and does not wobble to ensure safety during use.Seat and Gas Lift Docking
Slowly place the assembled seat (including the backrest) vertically on top of the gas lift, ensuring that the installation hole at the bottom of the seat is fully aligned with the top of the gas lift. Some models may require a slight rotation of the seat to lock it in place. After installation, test whether the seat's height adjustment function works properly to avoid height adjustment failure due to docking misalignment.Armrest and Headrest Installation
The armrests are usually fixed to the sides of the seat with screws. Align the holes on the armrests with the screw holes on the sides of the seat and tighten them with a screwdriver. The installation of the headrest depends on the model, being either clip-on or screw-fixed. For the clip-on type, insert the headrest post into the hole at the top of the backrest and press to lock it. For the screw-fixed type, connect the headrest to the backrest with screws and adjust the headrest angle to a comfortable position.
Special Precautions:
- When installing the ENOVA Enjoy Series mesh model, strictly follow the arrow directions on the components to avoid structural instability or mesh wrinkling due to incorrect directions.
- Before installation, check that all accessories are complete to avoid being unable to complete the assembly due to missing screws or clips halfway through.
- After installation, thoroughly check that all component connections are firm and test functions such as height adjustment, recline, and rotation to ensure safety during use.
