A Tribute to Nature Hidden in Sofa Design
Nature is the most authentic designer. The design wisdom of coexistence among all things has long been hidden in the grain of plants, the charm of handcraft, and the patterns time leaves behind. Taking 'a tribute to nature' as its design starting point, Yihang distills that vitality, childlike wonder, and serenity into sofa design, making office furniture a concrete expression of natural philosophy.
Flower II: Deconstructing Nature's Philosophy of Supple Strength
Cotton grows between heaven and earth: the boll guards softness with toughness, while the fluff embraces the world with lightnessโthat is nature's way of balance. The 'Flower II' sofa draws its inspiration from the moment a cotton boll bursts into bloom, interpreting life's vibrant tension through nature-inspired bionic design and infusing the space with life. Its sturdy steel frame is as resilient as the cotton shell, offering every sitter solid, dependable support.
A clever four-zone fill gives every inch of pressure a comfortable place to rest, so leaning back feels like being gently embraced by a 'soft cotton ball.' A 105ยฐ reclined angle relieves pressure, conforming to the body's curves and easing strain on the spine. Whether linen-blend upholstery for skin-friendly comfort, refined leather, or a modern leather-and-fabric mix, you can match them freely to the character of your space, turning the office into an extension of natural poetry.
Youzhe: Meeting Childhood Wonder in the Art of Origami
Origami is a romantic encounter between childhood and nature. Children pour their love and curiosity for the natural world into every fold. The 'Youzhe' sofa carries on that playfulness, taking origami art as its wellspring of inspiration and weaving the wisdom of the Chinese character 'zhe' (philosophy) into modern design.
The armrests draw from the 'fold' at the top of the character: through a folding process, they take on a sculptural, refined form like lively paper creases in a child's hands, full of fun and ingenuity. The cushion echoes the 'mouth' at the base of the characterโa curved seat with high-resilience foam that delivers a grounded, reassuring sit. At just 0.29 mยฒ, the single seat fits effortlessly into any corner or circulation path, and sitting down amid a busy day becomes a gentle reunion with childlike wonder.
Jansen: A Narrative Poem of Nordic Forest Rings
The forest's breath is hidden in the growth rings of its trees. Natural timber grows through morning dew and twilight, its grain a lyric etched by time. The 'Jansen' natural-wood sofa seals the serenity of the Nordic forest into every texture. Natural grain in interlacing light and dark flows with nature's rhythm, while traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery revives the warmth of craftsmanship for a warm, solid seating experience.
Different design languages, one shared tribute to nature. A sofa is also a 'vessel of time,' holding blooming vitality, childhood origami, and the forest's whispersโletting the office space become an extension of natural aesthetics.
