Project Overview
Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, also known as the Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School, was founded in 1892 and has a history of 127 years. Its predecessor was a 'Christ Hospital' founded by the Canadian missionary Dr. William Edward Macklin with funding from the American Christ Church. It is now a large comprehensive Grade III Class A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, and research, and one of the earliest Western medicine hospitals in China.
