Yoga Office Chair Production

Admin October 09, 2026

A yoga office chair is a fitness chair designed based on yoga principles to address shoulder and neck issues caused by prolonged sitting. It achieves shoulder muscle stretching and relaxation through its specific structure.

Basic Structure

A yoga office chair consists of a seat section, a backrest section, and a support section. The support section provides stable support for the entire chair body, ensuring safety and stability during use. The seat section offers sitting support for users, with an ergonomic design that guarantees comfort during long periods of sitting. The backrest section is the core part for achieving yoga fitness functions, altering the stress on the shoulder and neck areas through its unique design.

Backrest Design Highlights

  • Opening Design: The backrest features openings that facilitate shoulder movement and allow the arms to pass backward. These openings come in various forms. They can be closed cavities located on both sides of the backrest, enabling the arms to pass backward, with the upper and side parts forming shoulder-pressing sections for easy hand gripping by users. Alternatively, they can be open cavities, also positioned on both sides of the backrest to accommodate the shoulders and arms. This design allows users to naturally extend their arms backward when leaning back, providing space for shoulder stretching.
  • Shoulder-Pressing Section Setup: The upper and side parts of the opening form the shoulder-pressing sections, which apply a backward force to the shoulders. When a person leans back, the scapulae actively retract, the arms extend backward through the opening, and the shoulders are subjected to pressure from the shoulder-pressing sections on both sides, automatically expanding outward and backward. This changes the stress on the shoulder and neck areas, achieving shoulder muscle stretching and relaxation.
  • Auxiliary Structures: On the rear side of the backrest, handrails can be installed for easy hand gripping behind the back, such as a cross-shaped handrail, which helps users exert force and maintain balance better during shoulder-stretching movements. The backrest can also include a leaning section and shoulder-pressing sections that extend from the upper end of the leaning section to both sides and downward. The shoulder-pressing sections can rotate forward relative to the leaning section, enhancing flexibility and comfort during use. Additionally, it can be designed in an inverted mountain shape to meet the needs of different users.
  • Size Specifications: The height of the backrest ranges from 40 to 100 cm, with the opening height being greater than 10 cm. Moreover, the upper part of the backrest is wider than the lower part. This size design conforms to the physiological characteristics of the human shoulder and neck areas, enabling better body fit and fitness effectiveness.
