Yoga Movements on Office Chairs
Here are some yoga movements suitable for performing on office chairs:

Movement 1: Backward Stretch
Sit facing forward on the chair, lean your back slightly backward, and wrap your hands around the back of your head. As you inhale, open your hands and stretch them backward and upward, looking toward the ceiling, with your elbows also opening to the sides to fully stretch the neck and shoulder muscles. As you exhale, tuck your chin in, bring your elbows inward, and look down at your abdomen, feeling the stretch on the front of your neck. After repeating this a few times, slowly sit up straight. This movement helps relieve tension in the neck and shoulders and improves muscle stiffness caused by prolonged office work.
Movement 2: Side Stretch
Turn around to face the back of the chair and sit down with your toes pointing outward. Reach your left hand to the diagonal direction of the right side of the chair back and raise your right arm straight up. As you exhale, lean your body to the left. If your neck feels uncomfortable, you can turn your head downward to the right. At the same time, press your feet firmly on the ground and use the muscles on one side of your waist to bring your body back to the original position, then switch to the other side. This movement effectively stretches the side muscles of the body, enhances waist flexibility, and reduces waist pressure.
Movement 3: Spinal Twist
Sit on the side of the chair, turn your body toward the back of the chair, and grab both ends of the chair back with your hands. As you inhale, extend your spine upward. As you exhale, twist your chest to the left and backward, pull your right hand back, and push your left hand outward to increase the amplitude of the twist, while keeping your spine lifted and your chest expanded, with your knees facing forward. After finishing one side, switch to the other side. This movement promotes blood circulation in the spine, enhances spinal flexibility, and relieves back fatigue.
Movement 4: Deep Twist
Sit out a bit, as long as you can grab the chair, and place your other hand on the outside of the opposite foot, holding the position statically while maintaining your breath. With each inhale, draw the breath into your chest. As you exhale, twist backward and look at the diagonal direction behind you. When performing the movement, push against the chair with one hand to create a counterforce, draw this counterforce into your chest, and deepen the twist as you exhale. After finishing one side, switch to the other side. This movement further deeply twists the spine, massages the abdominal organs, and promotes digestion.
