As a new regional benchmark for healthcare, the Weishuiyuan Campus of Xi'an Daxing Hospital sees Yihang deeply integrate its total medical space solutions with a human-centered healing philosophy. The “Three Reassurances” concept is systematically embedded across the entire patient journey, creating a new paradigm of modern medical space that combines efficient care with humanistic warmth—and redefining both the patient experience and staff support in the hospital environment.

1. The Reassuring Welcome System: A Calming Experience That Reshapes the First Impression of Care

The hospital lobby replaces the oppressiveness of traditional hospitals with a spacious, bright layout. Light-colored marble floors paired with recessed lighting create a soothing, tranquil first impression. A semicircular “one-stop service center” serves as the spatial hub, integrating wayfinding and waiting functions—efficiently channeling patient flow while offering patients and families a reassuring reception experience.

The waiting area abandons rigid rows in favor of flexibly combined, comfortable seating arranged with pleasing density—keeping foot traffic flowing while subtly enclosing small, relatively private rest nooks.

In terms of color, gentle lighting is layered with varied tones, and well-distributed greenery guides the eye toward emotional relaxation, visibly lowering spatial anxiety.

2. The Reassuring Consultation System: Human-Centered Clinical Spaces That Empower Efficient, Precise Care

The design of clinical spaces directly affects both medical efficiency and dignity. Here, Yihang focuses deeply on human-centered details and safety.

The L-shaped consultation desks, optimized for medical workflows, give healthcare staff a spacious, well-organized work surface.

Smoothly rounded corners that prevent bumps, armrest cutouts, and temporary side shelves fully reflect barrier-free care for patients—especially seniors, children, and those with limited mobility.

Light-blue medical curtains softly separate the examination area from the office area, providing clear functional zoning while instantly giving patients full privacy—creating a clinical environment that reassures both sides.

3. The Reassuring Companionship System: A Home-Like Recovery Harbor for Full-Cycle Healing Support

A ward is a patient's temporary “home.” Yihang extends its healing philosophy into the recovery stage, caring for patients and families alike. A palette of light gray and off-white creates a stabilizing atmosphere for recovery, while multifunctional adjustable beds raise patient comfort.

In the VIP wards, companion sofas, integrated dining tables, and appliances such as refrigerators and microwave ovens bring everyday convenience into the space, greatly easing the burden on accompanying family members and turning them into an active support force in recovery.
