Work Clothes Office Chair Installation

Admin October 14, 2026

The installation of work clothes office chairs can be carried out according to the following steps, and the specific process may vary slightly depending on the model:

  1. Install the chair base and casters Insert each caster into the five-claw assembly holes of the chair base one by one, ensuring that each caster is fully embedded and free of looseness. After installation, flip the chair base so that the casters face downwards, forming a stable support structure. Pay attention to keeping the direction of the casters consistent in this step to avoid poor movement of the chair after installation.

  2. Install the gas lift Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the chair base, place it vertically, and gently press down to ensure a tight connection between the gas lift and the chair base. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the height of the chair. When installing, keep it vertical to avoid functional abnormalities or safety hazards caused by tilting.

  3. Secure the base plate and the seat Place the base plate at the bottom of the seat, paying attention to the orientation of the base plate (usually there are markings or grooves for alignment). After aligning with the four screw holes, use a screwdriver to screw each screw in 3-4 turns one by one, and then tighten them one by one. In this step, ensure that the base plate and the seat are fully in contact, and the tightening force of the screws is uniform to avoid local looseness.

  4. Connect the seat and the gas lift Align the base plate hole at the bottom of the seat with the top of the gas lift, insert it vertically, and rotate it slightly to ensure a secure connection. After insertion, you can try to gently shake the seat to check if it is tightly combined with the gas lift without any shaking or abnormal noise.

  5. Install the backrest Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the installation positions of the armrests on both sides of the seat, insert them vertically, and ensure they are fully embedded. First, use two screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, and then align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the installation holes of the seat brackets, and use a screwdriver to lock and fix them with screws. In this step, pay attention to the tightening force of the screws to avoid looseness or tilting of the backrest.

  6. Install the armrests Press the button below the armrest surface (some models have no buttons), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively to ensure they are fully embedded. Some models need to be fixed with three screws from the side or bottom of the armrests. When installing, align the screw holes and tighten them one by one.

  7. Install the headrest Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press it vertically to make it fit the backrest, and then use a screw to pass through the fixing buckle (some models are of buckle design and do not require screws) to complete the fixation. After installation, check if the headrest is stable without shaking or falling risks.

  8. Overall inspection Confirm that all screws are tightened, the components are firmly connected, and there is no looseness or missing parts. Gently shake the chair to check if all components are tightly combined; adjust the height of the gas lift to test if the function is normal; try to move the chair to confirm that the casters rotate flexibly.

Installation advice: Assemble from the bottom up, prioritize completing the bottom structures such as the chair base and gas lift, and then gradually install the seat, backrest, and other components upwards. During the installation process, you can refer to the instruction manual drawings to avoid misalignment or omission of components.
