Wellness Office Chair Installation
The installation of a wellness office chair can follow these general steps, with specific instructions provided in the product manual:

I. Identification and Preparation of Components Before installation, ensure all parts are complete, typically including the chair base (five-star base), casters (universal wheels), gas lift (height adjustment column), seat plate, seat cushion, backrest, armrests, headrest, and accompanying screws and tools. If the wellness office chair has special features (such as adjustable lumbar support, synchronized armrests, etc.), confirm that the dedicated components are intact.
II. Assembly of the Basic Structure
- Install Casters and Chair Base: Align the casters with the five slots on the chair base and press firmly until fully embedded, ensuring the wheels rotate smoothly and are secure.
- Secure the Gas Lift: Insert the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the chair base, keeping it upright. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting seat height; check for scratches or air leaks on its surface.
- Connect Seat Plate and Seat Cushion: Use screws to fix the seat plate to the bottom of the seat cushion, ensuring the screws are tightened until there is no wobbling between the seat plate and cushion. Some seat plates have adjustment handles (such as for recline tension, height lock); confirm the correct installation direction.
III. Assembly of the Upper Body Structure
- Connect Backrest and Seat Cushion: Depending on the design, the backrest may be attached to the seat cushion via clips or screws. For clip-on types, align the interfaces and press firmly; for screw-on types, use the provided tools to tighten, preventing the backrest from tilting.
- Insert Gas Lift: Align the assembled seat cushion vertically with the top of the gas lift and press down slowly until fully embedded, ensuring the seat can move up and down freely without jamming.
IV. Installation and Adjustment of Accessories
- Install Armrests: Align the armrests with the pre-drilled holes on both sides of the seat cushion and secure them with screws. Some armrests support height or angle adjustments; confirm the adjustment range before installation and set them to the initial position.
- Install Headrest: If equipped with a headrest, insert it into the slot at the top of the backrest or secure it with screws, adjusting it to a height that provides proper neck support.
- Function Test: After installation, test the seat's height adjustment, recline, armrest adjustment, and other functions to ensure they work properly. Confirm all screws are tight and the casters rotate smoothly.
V. Precautions
- If the wellness office chair has a complex design (such as electric adjustments, massage functions, etc.), refer to the manual or contact after-sales service first to avoid damage from improper operation.
- Install the chair on a flat surface to prevent the chair base from tilting and causing uneven stress on the gas lift.
- Keep children away from the installation area to prevent accidents from touching small parts or tools.
