Transparent Office Chair Installation
If the structure of the transparent office chair is similar to that of a conventional office chair, you can refer to the following installation steps:
Install the chair base and casters First, place the chair base flat on the ground, ensuring the installation surface is clean and free of debris. Align each caster with the mounting holes on the chair base and press vertically until fully embedded, ensuring each caster is tightly connected to the base without any looseness. After that, insert the gas lift (height adjustment rod) vertically into the center hole of the chair base, ensuring the bottom of the gas lift is fully flush with the base to prevent wobbling after installation.
Secure the seat plate to the chair seat Place the seat plate (the component that connects the gas lift to the chair seat) on the bottom of the chair seat. After aligning the screw holes, use the provided screws and tools (such as a screwdriver or electric wrench) to secure the seat plate to the chair seat. Note that the screws should be tightened to an appropriate torque to avoid structural instability due to loose screws or material damage due to over-tightening. If there is a snap-fit design between the seat plate and the chair seat, press the snap-fit until fully closed before adding screws for additional security.
Connect the chair back to the chair seat Choose the operation based on the connection method between the chair back and the chair seat:
- Screw connection: Align the chair back with the mounting holes at the rear of the chair seat and use screws to secure it from the inside of the chair back outward, ensuring the screws penetrate both the chair back and the seat and are tightened.
- Snap-fit connection: Align the snap-fit at the bottom of the chair back with the slot at the rear of the chair seat and press vertically downward until you hear a โclickโ sound, indicating the snap-fit is fully locked. If the chair back is adjustable in angle, test the adjustment function after connection to ensure it works properly.
Assemble the gas lift and the bottom bracket Align the bottom bracket (usually a metal or plastic connector) at the bottom of the chair seat with the top of the gas lift and press vertically downward until fully inserted, ensuring there is no gap between the bottom bracket and the gas lift. If the gas lift has an adjustment knob, test the height adjustment function for smooth operation after installation.
Install the armrests and headrest
- Armrest installation: Align the armrests with the mounting holes on both sides of the chair seat and use screws to secure them from the inside of the armrests outward, or press directly to lock them using snap-fits.
- Headrest installation: If the chair is equipped with a headrest, align the connecting rod of the headrest with the hole at the top of the chair back, insert it, and tighten the adjustment screw (if the headrest is adjustable), or press directly to lock it using a snap-fit. After installation, check that all screws are tightened and all snap-fits are fully closed.
