Single Office Chair Installation

Admin October 10, 2026

The installation of a single office chair requires selecting the appropriate method based on its style. Here are the common types and steps:

I. Installation of Basic Office Chairs

  1. Base and Gas Lift Assembly: Insert each chair wheel into the mounting holes of the five-star base. Flip the base over and vertically place the thicker end of the gas lift into the center hole of the base.
  2. Seat Cushion and Base Plate Fixation: Place the base plate on the seat cushion, paying attention to the orientation (usually marked on the base plate). Align it with the four screw holes and sequentially insert four B screws. First, tighten each screw 3-4 turns for initial fixation, then tighten them one by one to prevent the base plate from tilting.
  3. Gas Lift and Seat Cushion Connection: Align the seat cushion with the gas lift and insert it into the hole in the base plate, ensuring the gas lift is fully embedded. Insert the bottom sides of the backrest into the mounting positions of the seat cushion armrests. First, use two C screws to secure the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest bracket, then use a D screw and two wrenches to lock and secure the backrest and seat cushion bracket (The locking screws should be tightened crosswise to prevent loosening).
  4. Armrest and Headrest Installation: Press the button below the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the installation area, and tighten it with two E screws through the fixing clips.

II. Installation of Functional Single Chairs (e.g., Cheers First-Class Lounge Chairs)

  1. Backrest Installation: Align the buckles of the backrest with the grooves of the base, ensuring left-right alignment. You will hear a 'click' sound when the installation is complete (Make sure the buckles are fully embedded to avoid any gaps).
  2. Power Connection and Testing: Connect the power cord and check if the indicator light is on. Test the functions of the sofa (such as electric adjustment, massage, etc.) to ensure they are working properly. For electric functional chairs, ensure the power connection is correct to avoid short circuits or functional abnormalities.

III. Installation of Front-and-Back Chasing Single-Back Chairs

  1. Base Support and Chair Leg Connection: Insert the chair legs into the holes of the base support, with the outer sides facing outwards, and tighten them with A2 screws and an Allen wrench.
  2. Footrest Bar and Chair Leg Connection: Hang the connector on the outer side of the chair legs, align it, and tighten it with an A4 screw.
  3. Straight Pipe and Chair Leg Connection: Place the groove of the straight pipe downwards, align it with the holes of the chair legs, and secure it with long screws and nuts.
  4. Seat Cushion Installation: Fix the straight pipe on the back of the seat cushion with four long self-tapping screws. Ensure the screws are fully inserted to prevent the seat cushion from wobbling.

IV. General Assembly Steps for Lazy Single Chairs

  1. Component Inspection: Unpack all components and check them against the list to ensure there are no missing or defective parts.
  2. Chair Leg and Seat Fixation: Connect the chair legs to the bottom of the seat using screws or buckles, and adjust the backrest angle (if it has electric functions, connect the wires).
  3. Armrest and Footrest Installation: Align the holes and tighten the screws. Test sit to check the stability and reinforce any loose parts.

Precautions:

  • Check the accessory list before installation to avoid omissions.
  • For complex structures (such as gas lifts and locking screws), it is recommended to refer to video tutorials or instruction manuals for operation.
  • Test the functions of electric functional chairs before use to ensure safety.
