Simple Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for a simple office chair are as follows:

1. Install the Chair Wheels
Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base one by one, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and rotates smoothly. Some installation methods recommend assembling the five wheels into a whole first and then connecting them to the five-star base. Choose the appropriate method according to the specific accessory design.
2. Install the Gas Lift
Flip the five-star base so that the wheels face downward. Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the five-star base and insert it vertically, ensuring that the gas lift fits snugly against the base. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height, so avoid tilting or applying excessive force during installation.
3. Install the Seat Base and Cushion
- Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the base (usually indicated by markings or grooves for alignment). Align it with the four screw holes, then use a screwdriver to screw in the four screws one by one for 3-4 turns, and then tighten them sequentially until they are fixed.
- Some designs require the seat base to be installed below the cushion, using four long screws to connect to the base. Adjust the order according to the accessory structure.
- Align the center hole at the bottom of the cushion with the top of the gas lift and press down vertically until it is fully inserted into the hole in the seat base, ensuring a secure connection.
4. Install the Backrest
- Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the cushion, insert them vertically, and then use two screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets.
- Align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the cushion brackets. Use two wrenches (or a flat-head screwdriver and a wrench in combination) to tighten the screws in a counter-locking manner, ensuring that the backrest is firmly connected to the cushion without any wobbling.
- Simply put, 'Fix the screws at the connection between the backrest and the cushion using corner brackets'.
5. Install the Armrests
- Press the button below the armrest surface (some designs have no button), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, ensuring they are fully embedded.
- Align the screw holes at the bottom of the armrests and use a screwdriver to tighten the fixing screws (some require No. 3 screws to connect to the brackets).
- Repeat the operation when installing the armrest on the other side to ensure that both sides are symmetrical and the screws are tightened.
6. Install the Headrest (if applicable)
Place the headrest vertically in the middle at the top of the backrest and press the installation part of the headrest to make it fit against the backrest. Thread two screws through the headrest fixing clips and the connection holes on the backrest, first tighten them lightly for 3-4 turns to adjust the position, and then tighten them one by one until they are fixed, preventing the headrest from loosening or tilting.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check that all accessories are complete to avoid missing screws or tools.
- When tightening the screws, do it in stages to avoid applying excessive force at once, which may cause the screws to strip.
- After installing the gas lift, test whether the height adjustment function works properly.
- After installation, check that the connections between all components are secure to ensure safe use.
