Professional Office Chair Installation
The installation of a professional office chair typically involves the following steps:

1. Install the chair wheels and gas lift
To install the chair wheels, align each wheel with the mounting holes on the five-star base and press vertically until fully embedded, ensuring no looseness. Then, flip the base over and align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the base, placing it vertically and pressing lightly to secure it. Some tutorials suggest checking that the gas lift is aligned with the base hole to prevent instability during use. As the core component for adjusting the seat height, the gas lift must be installed vertically to prevent malfunctions in the lifting function later.
2. Install the seat base and cushion
Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to its orientation (usually marked with โfrontโ or โbackโ indicators). After aligning the screw holes, use a screwdriver to insert each screw 3-4 turns to initially secure the base, then tighten them one by one until there is no wobbling. Some designs require inserting the cushion directly onto the top of the gas lift into the base hole, in which case confirm that the gas lift is fully embedded in the bottom interface of the cushion to prevent the seat from tilting or detaching.
3. Install the backrest
Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest mounting slots on both sides of the cushion and insert vertically until the bottom clips are fully engaged. First, insert screws through the bottom of the armrest brackets to secure the connection between the backrest and armrests, then align the mounting holes at the back of the backrest with those on the cushion bracket and secure them with screws. Some models require using three M8 screws to reinforce the backrest, ensuring even tightening force to prevent wobbling or noise.
4. Install the armrests
Press the elastic buttons beneath the armrest surfaces and align the left and right armrests with the holes on the armrest brackets, inserting vertically until a โclickโ sound indicates the clips are locked. Some designs require inserting screws through the bottom of the armrests to secure them to the sides of the cushion, in which case check that the screws are fully inserted to prevent the armrests from loosening and affecting comfort.
5. Install the footrest (if applicable)
Align the connecting rod of the footrest with the reserved holes on the bottom of the cushion, insert vertically, and press lightly until fully embedded. Some footrests need to be secured to the bottom bracket of the cushion with screws, ensuring the screws are tightened to prevent the footrest from detaching during use.
6. Install the headrest (if applicable)
Align the bottom of the headrest with the mounting slot at the top of the backrest and press vertically until the headrest is fully flush with the backrest surface. Some designs require inserting screws through the headrest mounting clips into the reserved holes at the top of the backrest to ensure the headrest is secure and does not wobble. After installation, adjust the headrest height to a comfortable position to support the neck.
After installation, thoroughly check that all components are securely connected, test the stability by gently shaking the chair, and adjust the gas lift to verify that the lifting function operates normally.
