Ordinary Office Chair Trial
When trying out an ordinary office chair, it is necessary to comprehensively consider aspects such as seat height, sitting posture, lumbar support, armrest adjustment, and frequency of movement to ensure a comfortable and healthy office experience.

Seat Height Adjustment: When trying out an ordinary office chair, the first step is to adjust the seat height. Ensure that both feet can be placed flat on the ground, with the angle between the thighs and lower legs maintained between 95 and 100 degrees. This height setting helps distribute body weight evenly, avoiding excessive pressure on the legs or waist due to improper height.
Sitting Posture Selection: The correct sitting posture is crucial for reducing lumbar spine pressure. Lean back slightly, with an angle of approximately 100 to 110 degrees. This posture effectively reduces lumbar spine pressure while allowing the entire back, especially the waist, to fit snugly against the chair back. Sit all the way back in the chair, with the back fully against the chair back, making it less likely to feel tired during long hours of work.
Lumbar Support Adjustment: If the chair is equipped with lumbar support, adjust it to the position that exactly supports the natural curve of the lumbar spine. Proper use of lumbar support provides additional support for the waist, reducing the burden on the lumbar spine and preventing the occurrence of waist diseases.
Armrest Adjustment: The height of the armrests should also be adjusted according to personal needs. Adjust the height so that when the elbows hang naturally, the forearms can rest easily on the armrests or desktop, with the angle between the upper and lower arms close to 100 degrees. This setting helps relieve the burden on the shoulders and reduces fatigue in the shoulder and neck area.
Frequency of Movement: Even after adjusting to a perfect static posture, it is necessary to engage in some simple activities every 30 minutes. Activities such as hip joint stretching, lower back release, or shoulder-opening exercises can relieve discomfort caused by prolonged sitting, promote blood circulation, and prevent muscle stiffness and pain.
Avoiding Incorrect Sitting Postures: During the trial process, pay special attention to avoiding incorrect sitting postures, such as slouching at the waist. This posture does not provide good protection for the body and may instead increase the burden on the lumbar spine, leading to the occurrence of waist diseases.
