Office Chair Section
The section of an office chair reveals its intricate and sophisticated internal structural system, where various components work in harmony to provide a stable, comfortable, and convenient sitting experience.

Backrest: As the core component supporting the back, the design of the backrest directly affects sitting comfort. It may include lumbar support structures such as no lumbar support, fixed lumbar support, manual lumbar support, or adaptive lumbar support to meet the lumbar support needs of different users and reduce pressure on the back from prolonged sitting.
Seat Cushion: The seat cushion is filled with soft materials such as high-resilience foam and silk wadding, and covered with leather or fabric on the outside to achieve a balance between pressure dispersion and comfortable sitting. Its thickness and elasticity directly affect the hip support effect and are key indicators of the comfort of an office chair.
Armrests: Designed based on ergonomic principles, armrests can support the elbows and adapt to the natural posture of the arms, reducing arm fatigue. Some high-end models support height and angle adjustments to match different usage scenarios.
Chassis: The chassis serves as the hub connecting various components, providing stability and supporting height and tilt angle adjustment functions. Common types include fixed chassis, single torsion spring chassis, single spring chassis, cable-controlled chassis, and lever-controlled chassis, among which the cable-controlled chassis has become the mainstream choice due to its operational convenience.
Gas Lift: In office chairs with adjustable height, the gas lift achieves seat elevation and lowering functions by compressing gas. Its quality is directly related to usage safety, and products that have passed international safety certifications should be selected to avoid explosion risks.
Five-Star Base: As the load-bearing foundation, the five-star base is usually made of nylon or aluminum alloy. Aluminum alloy models are more suitable for high-frequency usage scenarios due to their higher load-bearing capacity and durability, while nylon materials occupy part of the market with their lightweight advantages.
Wheels: Installed at the bottom of the five-star base, wheels ensure mobility while maintaining stability through silent designs or anti-entanglement structures. Some models are equipped with brake functions to fix the position of the chair.
Adjustment Devices: Including cable-controlled devices, lever-controlled devices, etc., these control chair parameters through mechanical or electronic means. Modern office chairs often integrate multi-directional adjustment functions such as synchronous tilting and seat depth adjustment to meet personalized needs.
These components are connected through processes such as mortise-and-tenon joints, screws and nuts, or welding to form a complete mechanical system. The material selection, structural design, and manufacturing precision of each component jointly determine the final performance of the office chair.
