Office Chair Screw Fixing
The steps for fixing the screws of an office chair are as follows:

I. Armrest Installation
After completing the installation of the five-star base and wheels, proceed with fixing the armrests. First, prepare the screws required for the armrests, typically using 3 screws for fixation. Align the armrests with the corresponding positions on the chair body, ensuring that the screw holes are perfectly matched, and then screw in the screws one by one. Pay attention to the tightness of the screws in this step to avoid slipping or misalignment of the armrests due to excessive force.
II. Base Installation
The base is the core component connecting the chair body and the five-star base. When installing, align the 4 screw holes on the base with the corresponding holes on the chair body, and then screw in the 4 B screws one by one. Initially, each screw only needs to be screwed in 3-4 turns to maintain a preliminary connection between the base and the chair body; after all screws have been preliminarily fixed, tighten them one by one until fully secured. This method can prevent base misalignment due to uneven force on one side, ensuring installation stability.
III. Backrest Installation
Backrest installation requires two steps:
- Bottom Fixation: Use 2 C screws to pass through the bottom of the armrest bracket and preliminarily connect the bottom of the backrest to the armrest bracket.
- Locking Fixation: Align the installation holes on the back of the backrest with the holes on the seat cushion bracket, and use two wrenches for coordinated operation: one wrench fixes the outer nut, and the other wrench tightens the inner D screw, completing the locking fixation of the backrest and the seat cushion bracket through bidirectional force application. Ensure that the screws are fully tightened in this step to prevent the backrest from loosening.
IV. Headrest Installation
The headrest is connected to the chair back through fixing clips. When installing, pass 2 E screws through the reserved holes on the headrest clip, align them with the corresponding holes on the chair back, first screw them in 3-4 turns easily for preliminary fixation, and then tighten them one by one until fully secure. Pay attention to the symmetry of the screws in this step to prevent the headrest from tilting due to unilateral force.
Precautions:
- Before installing all screws, confirm that the models match to avoid slipping or structural instability caused by mixed use.
- When tightening screws, it is recommended to use an electric screwdriver or a manual wrench to control the torque and avoid excessive force.
- After installation, check whether the movement of each component is smooth, such as whether the armrest adjustment and backrest tilt functions are normal.
