Office Chair Rolling Feng Shui

Regarding the feng shui of rolling office chairs, there are currently different viewpoints, and it cannot be simply judged as absolutely good or bad; multiple factors need to be considered comprehensively.

Viewpoints suggesting poor feng shui for rolling office chairs

Some people believe that although rolling office chairs are convenient for movement, the mobility of the wheels at the bottom gives a feeling of having no solid foundation underfoot. In terms of feng shui symbolism, this may imply instability in one's career, with the hidden risk of an insecure career foundation. From the perspective of traditional feng shui concepts, stability is regarded as an important foundation for career development. A state of having no solid foundation underfoot is like a career lacking firm support, making it prone to setbacks and changes during development and difficult to form a stable pattern, thereby affecting the long-term stable development of the career. For example, in regions with strong traditional business concepts, people are more inclined to choose fixed and stable office furniture, believing that this can provide more reliable guarantees for their careers.

Viewpoints suggesting no impact of rolling chairs on feng shui

Others believe that rolling chairs have no substantial impact on feng shui. They emphasize that the key lies in whether the chair is placed in an auspicious position in the office. If the chair is placed in an auspicious position in the office, even if it has wheels, it can take advantage of the good qi field of the auspicious position and bring positive fortune to the user. Moreover, from the perspective of the actual operation of a company, in the interaction between employees and chairs, whether the chair's design conforms to ergonomics is more important. Designs with armrests can enhance support, allowing employees to maintain a comfortable sitting posture during long working hours, reducing physical fatigue, and improving work efficiency. For example, some modern technology companies focus more on the comfort and functionality of the office environment and do not pay particular attention to feng shui factors regarding whether office chairs have wheels.
