Office Chair Quality Requirements
The quality requirements for office chairs cover multiple aspects such as safety, comfort, durability, ergonomic design, appearance quality, dimensional tolerances, physical and chemical properties, and mechanical properties.

Safety: Structural stability is fundamental, and the chair should be able to withstand various forces during normal use to prevent tipping over or breaking. The materials used must be non-toxic and harmless, with a formaldehyde emission level of โค1.5mg/L. Edges and corners should be smoothly finished to avoid sharp parts that could cause injury. Critical components such as gas springs must undergo rigorous testing to ensure safety and stability.
Comfort: The seat should have appropriate softness, support, and breathability to reduce fatigue from prolonged sitting. The backrest should conform to the natural curve of the spine, providing sufficient support, with an adjustable angle ranging from 100ยฐ to 120ยฐ. Armrest height and angle should also be adjustable, with a height adjustment range of 100mm to 200mm to support the arms.
Durability: Office chairs should undergo long-term repetitive motion tests, such as lifting and rotating, to ensure no significant wear or damage occurs within their service life. The filling and fabric of the seat and backrest should be wear-resistant and tear-resistant.
Ergonomic Design: The design should conform to ergonomic principles, providing appropriate support for various parts of the body. The seat height should be adjustable within the range of 380mm to 530mm, and the seat tilt angle adjustment range should generally be 0ยฐ to 20ยฐ.
Appearance Quality: Components should not have defects such as missed welds, burn-through, or misalignment, ensuring overall aesthetic appeal.
Dimensional Tolerances: The extreme deviation in seat height should be ยฑ10mm to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Physical and Chemical Properties: The coating should have impact resistance, with no cracks or peeling after impact testing, ensuring coating quality.
Mechanical Properties: The office chair seat should undergo a static load test with a load of 750N for 10 minutes, showing no deformation or damage that affects use after unloading. For stability tests, such as forward tipping tests, the chair should not tip over when a certain force is applied. In structural strength tests, the armrests of the office chair should withstand a lateral force of 250 pounds (approximately 113.4kg) without damage. Durability tests should simulate 100,000 normal use cycles to ensure the durability of the office chair.
