New Technologies in Office Chairs
New technologies in office chairs mainly include gravity-adaptive back support, domino lumbar support, 6D bionic joint armrests, sixth-generation space chassis, wide-angle mechanical headrests with uniform-pressure sliding cushions, AI-powered intelligent back support, and intelligent health monitoring technologies.

The gravity-adaptive back support technology is applied in the pioneering gravity-adaptive free-floating active support office chair, which can automatically adjust the support force according to the user's body weight, providing more tailored back support.
The domino lumbar support system achieves a 'sliding back support' effect through a design where the lumbar support moves in tandem with the backrest. When the user leans back, the lumbar support automatically follows the curve of the lumbar spine, ensuring that the waist always receives effective support. This technology has been applied in several flagship products, such as the C300 and C500.
Compared to ordinary 6D armrests, the 6D bionic joint armrests offer 40% greater flexibility, enabling precise adjustments in six dimensions: up and down, forward and backward, left and right, angle, width, and depth. They simulate the movement trajectory of the human shoulder joint and have been certified with a utility model patent. They are applied in high-end computer chair products such as the S300 and C300 second-generation Pro.
The sixth-generation space chassis was developed over three years by more than 100 engineers, achieving a significant reduction of 15% in back pressure. Compared to traditional single-torsion-spring chassis, the backrest rebound is smoother, and the recline angle control is more precise. This technology has been applied in two flagship computer chairs, the S300 and C500.
The wide-angle mechanical headrest offers 85mm of height adjustment, 360-degree horizontal rotation, 40 degrees of pitch adjustment, and 125mm of forward and backward movement, fully accommodating the neck support needs of users of different heights. The uniform-pressure sliding cushion, through its front-end sliding design, distributes thigh pressure more evenly, effectively alleviating circulation issues in the legs caused by prolonged sitting.
The AI-powered intelligent back support function, as seen in the Hei Bai Diao X7, incorporates an AI chip and pressure sensors to monitor posture in real time. When the body leans forward and the waist is about to leave the lumbar support, the support automatically extends forward to meet the waist. When the waist pressure changes, it adjusts backward accordingly, always conforming to the curve of the waist.
In terms of intelligent technologies, the Sihoo computer chair has launched the T6 smart chair, equipped with 11 health monitoring functions, including heart rate monitoring, weight detection, and posture analysis. It can create personal health profiles for users and, in collaboration with Harman Kardon, integrates massage functions with a high-quality sound system into the computer chair.
