Office Chair Mesh Fabric
Common types of office chair mesh fabrics include domestic Longwen Tewang, U-mesh fabric, and American MATREX fabric. Due to differences in material technology, mechanical properties, and sitting experience, they are suitable for different usage scenarios.

Material and Technology Differences
Longwen Tewang uses a high-density nylon wire weaving process to form a double-layer structure with Longwen texture. The technology is mature and cost-effective, focusing on durability and hard support, but the material properties result in a rough touch. U-mesh fabric embeds TPE elastomers through a crisscross weaving process, forming a four-way stretch structure. The technology is similar to MATREX's early products, balancing elasticity and a sense of enclosure, with excellent cost-effectiveness. American MATREX fabric uses a patented polyester-based elastomer special material, produced through a jacquard weaving process. It contains fluorescent anti-counterfeiting threads and comes with an exclusive laser label. Its Quantum 4.0 version innovatively adopts a T-shaped mesh structure, eliminating the roughness of traditional nylon mesh fabrics, with denser weaving and stronger elastomer tension.
Mechanical Property Comparison
In terms of elastic recovery rate, MATREX fabric leads in indicators such as instantaneous rebound rate, deformation residue after 2 hours of continuous pressure, 10,000-cycle recovery rate, and hysteresis loss, with minimal performance degradation over long-term use. U-mesh fabric performs evenly, suitable for daily office use. Longwen Tewang has decent initial rebound but experiences a significant drop in support after multiple uses, prone to local sagging. In terms of impact test durability, MATREX fabric passes BIFMA certification with over 120,000 impact tests. U-mesh fabric has about 80,000-100,000 tests, with good toughness and slow elastic degradation. Longwen Tewang has about 60,000-80,000 tests, being wear-resistant and durable but with weaker long-term elastic stability.
Sitting Experience Characteristics
Due to its material properties, Longwen Tewang provides a sitting experience similar to traditional nylon mesh fabrics, focusing on hard support, suitable for users requiring strong support. U-mesh fabric achieves a balance between elasticity and a sense of enclosure through the balance of elastomers and weaving structure, providing a comfortable sitting experience with high cost-effectiveness. American MATREX fabric offers a superior sitting experience with its high-strength material and precise technology, especially the Quantum 4.0 version, which enhances touch delicacy through a T-shaped structure, suitable for high-end demands pursuing long-term comfort and durability.
