Office Chair Making Method
The production process of an office chair mainly includes steps such as base cushion and frame making, exterior part making, component assembly and decoration, and installation of special functional components.

Base Cushion and Frame Making
First, place square steel tubes into a hydraulic press and bend them into square base cushion frames with rounded corners at the four corners. Weld the support steel plates to the openings of the frame to ensure the stability of the frame structure. Then, hook S-shaped springs onto the frame and connect three support steel bars to the springs in opposite directions to complete the internal structure of the base cushion, providing support for the subsequent installation of the seat cushion. For swivel office chairs, first weld a sturdy base, install steel springs from the front, and insert support frames between the springs. After completing the seat frame, weld the backrest frame of the chair.
Exterior Part Making
Use black leather to make the exterior parts of the chair. Place plastic templates for parts such as the headrest and armrests on top of the leather, and use a utility knife to cut out pieces of black leather according to the template patterns. Stick the cut leather onto relatively hard foam cushions and cut out slightly larger foam pads according to the size of the leather for making the seat cushion and backrest of the office chair. To ensure comfort, use soft and fluffy foam pads. First, cut them into large squares, then cut them into connected but separate rectangles along the measured intervals. After that, mark the leather according to the same intervals as the foam pads and fold and sew the leather to form the basic shape of the leather surface of the seat backrest. Then, sew the leather of the seat cushion and the decorations together. For swivel office chairs, after cutting the leather, cut the sponge blocks. The sponge densities on the chair vary, with soft ones for cushioning and hard ones for shaping the chair when it is twisted. Divide the leather according to size and sew it together with the sponge.
Component Assembly and Decoration
Wrap the surface of the metal frame with foam pads, then put the sewn leather cover on top for decoration, and fix the cover plate and the frame with screws.
Installation of Special Functional Components
Connect the height-adjustable armrests, hydraulic rods, pneumatic rods, and the bottom support rods of the seat to the metal base to ensure that the office chair can be raised and lowered freely. For swivel office chairs, after installing the seat, screw on a plastic cover plate at the bottom, attach the base, support rods, and support plate, install the hydraulic rod of the lifting valve seat, which can not only control the lifting of the chair but also enable it to rotate 360 degrees. Finally, install an aluminum base and casters, and attach the headrest and armrest parts.
