Office Chair Leg Installation
The steps for installing the legs of an office chair vary depending on the type, as detailed below:

For five-star base office chairs, leg installation is relatively straightforward. First, prepare the five-star base and matching wheels, which are usually caster wheels for easy chair movement. When installing, align the wheels with the sockets on the five-star base and gently push the wheels into the sockets to ensure a tight connection between the wheels and the base. Some wheels may have a threaded design, in which case, you need to screw the wheels clockwise into the threaded holes of the five-star base until they are firmly in place. During the insertion or screwing process, be mindful of applying moderate force to avoid damaging the wheels or the base due to excessive force. After installation, gently shake the wheels to check if they are securely installed and free from any looseness.
For F16 split four-leg office chairs, leg installation requires the use of tools. First, prepare the footrest, seat cushion, four extended screws, and a wrench. Place the footrest in the appropriate position beneath the seat cushion, ensuring that the mounting holes on the footrest align with those on the seat cushion. Then, pass the extended screws through the mounting holes on the seat cushion and footrest in sequence to initially secure the footrest to the seat cushion. At this point, the screws do not need to be tightened too much to allow for subsequent adjustments. Once all four screws are installed, use the wrench to tighten them one by one. When tightening the screws, follow a diagonal sequence to ensure even force distribution on the footrest and a more stable installation. For example, tighten the top-left screw first, then the bottom-right screw, followed by the top-right screw, and finally the bottom-left screw. Each screw should be tightened to an appropriate degree, neither too loose to cause the footrest to wobble nor too tight to damage the screws or components. After installation, double-check if the footrest is securely installed and free from any wobbling or misalignment.
