Office Chair Installation and Unboxing

The steps for unboxing and installing an office chair are as follows:

I. Unboxing Preparation and Component Inventory Open the packaging and lay out all the components and parts on a clean, spacious floor (it is recommended to use a floor or floor mat to avoid scratching the parts). Common components include:

1. Basic Components: One five-star base (five-claw base), one chassis (tray) with a lifting mechanism, one seat (cushion), and one backrest.
2. Connectors: One pressure lifting rod (pneumatic rod), five casters (universal wheels), and a pair of armrests (usually).
3. Fasteners: Screws, screw caps, etc. (Some brands, such as Xia Cai Mu Fit CC, provide installation diagrams and special fastening screws.)

II. Installing Casters and the Five-Star Base Place the five-star base with its front side facing up. Take five casters and align the metal rods with the holes at the bottom of the five-star base. Press down vertically until you hear a 'click' sound to ensure the casters are securely fastened and do not loosen. For example, the silent universal wheels of Xia Cai Mu Fit CC need to be directly inserted into the alloy legs of the chair feet.

III. Installing the Pneumatic Rod

1. Remove the plastic protective cap from the top end of the pneumatic rod.
2. Flip the five-star base with the installed casters over so that its back side faces up. Insert the thinner end (lower end) of the pneumatic rod vertically into the central hole of the five-star base without rotating it. It will be fixed by its own tension.

IV. Securing the Chassis to the Bottom of the Seat Cushion

1. Place the bottom of the seat cushion facing up on a soft surface (such as packaging foam) to avoid scratches.
2. Take out the chassis and distinguish its front and back directions (the side with the lifting handle is the front).
3. Align the pre-reserved screw holes at the bottom of the seat cushion and gradually tighten the screws diagonally with a cross-head screwdriver to ensure the chassis is flat and firm.

V. Connecting the Seat to the Pneumatic Rod Lift the seat cushion with the installed chassis with both hands. Align the central hole of the chassis with the upper end of the pneumatic rod and press down vertically to complete the connection.

VI. Installing Other Components on the Seat Cushion Taking Xia Cai Mu Fit CC as an example, you need to install the armrests, support structures, and adjustment components. Refer to the installation diagram and tighten the fastening screws one by one at the corresponding positions.

VII. Installing the Backrest If the backrest is a one-piece molding (such as Xia Cai Mu Fit CC), simply insert it into the support structure and tighten the screws. Some designs support front-to-back adjustment, and you need to adjust the tightness according to your needs.

VIII. Installing the Headrest (if applicable) Align the headrest with the reserved position and tighten the two fastening screws to complete the installation.

Tool Recommendation: You only need a cross-head screwdriver (a magnetic one is better to prevent screws from falling). When installing, pay attention to distinguishing the directions of the components and avoid applying excessive force to prevent damage.
