Office Chair Installation Routine
The routine steps for installing an office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the Chair Wheels and Gas Lift Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base, ensuring that each wheel is fully seated in its hole. Flip the five-star base so that the wheels face downward, then align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the base and place it vertically, ensuring a secure connection between the gas lift and the base. Some installation instructions suggest that this step can be simplified by first installing the five wheels and then inserting the gas lift into the center hole.
Step 2: Secure the Seat Base and Cushion Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the base (usually marked or with grooves corresponding to the cushion structure). After aligning the screw holes of the base and cushion, use a screwdriver to screw each screw in 3-4 turns to ensure all screws are initially fixed, then tighten them one by one to avoid tilting the base due to unilateral force. Some installation instructions mention that the base needs to be fixed to the bottom bracket of the cushion with four long screws.
Step 3: Connect the Cushion and Gas Lift Align the bottom of the assembled cushion with the top of the gas lift and insert it vertically downward, ensuring that the connection holes between the cushion and the gas lift are fully engaged. After insertion, gently press down on the cushion to check for stability and no wobbling.
Step 4: Install the Backrest and Armrests Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the cushion. First, secure the bottom of the backrest with screws from the bottom of the armrest brackets, then adjust the backrest so that the installation holes at the back align with those on the cushion brackets, and use a tool (such as a wrench) to lock the backrest and cushion brackets together. Some installation instructions mention that the backrest and cushion are connected via corner brackets, which need to be tightened with screws.
Step 5: Secure the Armrests Press the button below the armrest surface (if any), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, ensuring that the armrests and brackets are fully engaged. Some installation instructions mention that the armrests need to be fixed to the brackets with screws, in which case the screws should be tightened to ensure the stability of the armrests.
Step 6: Install the Headrest Place the headrest vertically in the middle position at the top of the backrest, and gently press down on the headrest installation area to make it fit snugly against the backrest. Thread a screw through the headrest fixing clip and lock the headrest to the backrest, checking if the headrest can be adjusted in height or angle (if designed).
After installation, check that all screws are tightened, all components are securely connected, and test the lifting, rotation, and backrest adjustment functions of the office chair to ensure they are working properly.
