Office Chair Installation Guide
The steps for installing an office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Check the Parts
Before installation, carefully check all the components, including 5 casters, 1 pneumatic lift rod, 1 five-star base, 1 control mechanism tray, 1 seat, 2 armrests (with matching screws), a backrest, and fixing screws. Ensure that all parts are complete and undamaged to avoid interruption during installation due to missing parts.
Step 2: Install the Five-Star Base and Casters
Place the five-star base flat on the ground. Align each of the 5 casters with the slots at the ends of the five legs of the base and press firmly until they are fully secured, ensuring that the casters are stable and not loose. After installation, gently shake the base to check if the casters are properly installed.
Step 3: Install the Tray
Turn the seat upside down so that the bottom is facing up. Locate the fixing screws (usually 4) under the seat cushion and unscrew them all with a screwdriver. Align the control mechanism tray with the mounting holes at the bottom of the seat cushion and re-tighten the screws after alignment to ensure a firm connection between the tray and the seat.
Step 4: Connect the Pneumatic Lift Rod
Place the five-star base with the installed casters upright. Insert the thicker end with a hole of the pneumatic lift rod into the central socket of the five-star base. A 'click' sound or confirmation of full insertion indicates a successful connection. Then, align the tray hole of the seat (with the installed tray) with the top end of the pneumatic lift rod and press down vertically until fully seated.
Step 5: Install the Armrests
Take out one armrest and its matching screws (e.g., 3 screws for the left side). Align the armrest with the mounting holes on the side of the seat and initially screw in the screws without fully tightening them to allow for position adjustment. The installation method is the same for both armrests. Be sure to distinguish between left and right (some armrests have directional markings). Once all screws are in place, tighten them one by one to avoid the armrests being skewed due to unilateral force.
Step 6: Install the Backrest
Choose the installation method according to the backrest design:
- If the backrest is directly snapped into the tray, align the bottom of the backrest with the tray slot and press firmly until fully embedded;
- If screws are required for fixation, align the backrest bracket with the tray and tighten the fixing screws (usually 2-4) with a screwdriver. Ensure that the backrest is perpendicular to the seat and does not wobble.
Step 7: Check the Installation
After installation is complete, sit on the chair to test its stability. Hold the lift control handle on the side of the tray with your hand and adjust the seat height up and down to check if the lift function is smooth. At the same time, gently shake your body to confirm that there are no loose or abnormal noises from the casters, armrests, backrest, and other parts, ensuring safe use.
