Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for an office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the Chair Base and Wheels
Insert the five wheels (or casters) one by one into the corresponding holes on the chair base (five-pronged). Ensure that each wheel is fully embedded and securely fixed. Pay attention to the consistency of the wheel directions during this step to avoid issues with rolling or jamming after installation.
Step 2: Install the Gas Lift
Vertically insert the gas lift (pneumatic rod) into the central hole of the chair base, ensuring that the gas lift is fully flush with the base and does not wobble. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height, so it must be kept vertical during installation to prevent malfunctions during subsequent use.
Step 3: Install the Seat Plate and Seat
- Method 1: Place the seat plate on the bottom of the seat and secure it with four long screws (e.g., M625mm or M630mm).
- Method 2: If the chair design includes pre-connection of the armrests and backrest, first connect the armrests to the backrest with four screws (e.g., M625mm), then install the tray (seat plate) onto the bottom of the seat with four screws (e.g., M620mm or M6*30mm).
Choose the appropriate screw specifications based on the specific chair model and ensure that the screws are tightened until there is no looseness.
Step 4: Connect the Backrest to the Seat
Use corner brackets (metal connectors) to secure the backrest to the seat and lock them in place with screws (e.g., M6*20mm). The corner brackets enhance the stability of the backrest and seat. Align the holes during installation and tighten the screws evenly.
Step 5: Install the Armrests
- Method 1: Use two screws (e.g., M6*20mm) with washers to secure the upper and lower parts of the armrests to the corresponding holes on the seat or backrest, then install decorative caps to cover the screws.
- Method 2: If the armrest brackets and armrests are separate designs, first connect the brackets to the armrests with two screws (e.g., M8*25mm), then install the decorative caps.
Pay attention to the height symmetry of the armrests during this step to avoid left-right tilting after installation.
Step 6: Install the Headrest
Choose the appropriate screw specifications (e.g., M625mm or M630mm) based on the headrest design and secure the headrest to the reserved holes at the top of the backrest with two screws. Adjust the headrest angle to a comfortable position during installation and ensure that the screws are tightened to prevent the headrest from loosening.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check the quantity of all accessories and screw specifications to avoid omissions or misuse.
- Tighten the screws with moderate force to avoid stripping the threads or damaging the components due to excessive force.
- After installation, check the stability of all components by gently shaking to test for looseness or unusual noises.
