Office Chair Furniture Installation
The steps for installing office chair furniture are as follows:

Install the chair base and wheels Insert the five wheels (or casters) one by one into the corresponding holes on the chair base (five-pronged). Ensure that each wheel is fully embedded and securely fixed. Pay attention to the consistency of the wheel directions in this step to avoid issues such as poor rolling or tilting after installation.
Install the gas lift Insert the gas lift vertically into the central hole of the chair base, ensuring sufficient insertion depth and a tight fit with the base. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height, so it must be kept vertical during installation to avoid instability during subsequent use due to tilting.
Install the chassis and seat plate Place the chassis on the bottom of the seat plate and fix it with four long screws. Ensure that the screws are tightened in this step to prevent the chassis from loosening and affecting the seat's load-bearing capacity. Some chassis may come with adjustment knobs, so confirm that their positions match the functions of the seat plate.
Connect other components
- Armrests and backrest: Use four M6*25mm screws to fix the armrests to the backrest. Pay attention to matching the screw length with the thickness of the components to avoid unstable connections due to short screws or penetration of the surface due to long screws.
- Armrests and seat cushion: Connect the armrests to the seat cushion with four M6*30mm screws, ensuring that the armrests are level and aligned with the seat cushion to avoid height differences after installation.
- Armrest brackets and armrests: Connect the armrest brackets to the armrests with two M8*25mm screws and install decorative covers to conceal the screw holes, enhancing aesthetics.
- Headrest installation: Select the screw specifications according to the model (e.g., two M625mm or two M630mm screws) and fix the headrest to the top of the backrest. Adjust the headrest angle to conform to ergonomics.
- Tray installation: Fix the tray to the bottom of the seat plate with four M6*20mm screws. The tray is usually used to support seat rotation or tilting functions, so ensure it is securely installed.
- Upper and lower parts of the armrests: Install the upper and lower adjustment components of the armrests with two M6*20mm screws and washers, and then install decorative covers to hide the screws.
Install the corner brackets for connecting the backrest and seat Install corner brackets at the connection between the backrest and the seat plate and fix them with screws. Pay attention to the directional requirements of some corner brackets in this step (e.g., "this side faces the black fabric on the back") and adjust the direction strictly according to the instructions or component markings to avoid incorrect installation leading to seat structural instability.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check that all screw specifications match the component holes to avoid damage caused by mixing them up.
- Use tools of the corresponding specifications (such as a cross-head screwdriver or electric screwdriver) when tightening screws to avoid slipping or excessive force that could damage the threads.
- After installation, check that all components are flexible (such as the gas lift's up and down movement, armrest adjustment, headrest angle, etc.) to ensure normal functionality.
