Office Chair Frame Installation
The steps for installing an office chair frame are as follows:

Step 1: Prepare components and install wheels and five-star base
First, ensure that all components are complete, including the five-star base, wheels, gas lift, seat pan, backrest frame, armrests, screws, and nuts. Insert the wheels vertically into the five holes of the five-star base, ensuring a secure and stable connection between the wheels and the base without any looseness. This step provides the foundational support structure for subsequent installation.
Step 2: Install the seat pan and backrest frame
Place the seat pan at the bottom of the seat and use four short screws to secure the connection between the pan and the seat, ensuring the pan is level and stable. Then, install the backrest frame by aligning the frame's groove upwards with the designated position on the pan and securing it with medium screws. Pay attention to the direction of the frame during this step; having the groove facing upwards ensures the accuracy of subsequent backrest installation.
Step 3: Connect the gas lift and backrest frame
Insert the gas lift from the center of the five-star base into the hole in the pan, ensuring the gas lift is vertical and inserted deeply enough. Then, insert the backrest frame into the designated hole on the outside of the pan and tighten the matching nut to secure the relative position of the frame and the pan. Check the perpendicularity of the gas lift and the backrest frame during this step to avoid instability caused by tilted installation.
Step 4: Assemble the five-star base and casters
If the office chair is equipped with casters, directly snap them into the ends of the five-star base's legs, ensuring a firm latch. Then, flip the five-star base to face upwards, insert the lift rod into the center hole of the base, and attach the computer chair pan. Next, install the backrest support by aligning the backrest mesh with the support's slot and securing the connection between the mesh and the support with screws. Pay attention to the tightening force of the screws during this step to avoid material deformation caused by over-tightening.
Step 5: Install and secure the armrests
Use medium-length 630 screws to lock the connection between the backrest and the armrests. Align the screws with the holes but do not tighten them completely yet. Align the holes on the armrests with those on the seat cushion and use 630 screws to initially secure them, ensuring all holes are aligned before tightening the screws one by one. Check the levelness of the armrests and the gap between them and the seat cushion repeatedly during this step to ensure no wobbling and comfortable use after installation.
Precautions:
- Carefully check the component list before installation to avoid missing key parts.
- Tighten the screws in stages, initially securing them and then uniformly tightening them to prevent component displacement.
- After installation, test the functions of all components, such as lifting, rotation, and backrest adjustment, to ensure no abnormalities before use.
