Office Chair Fixation Installation

Admin October 12, 2026

The following process can be referred to for the fixed installation of office chairs:

I. Installation of Chair Wheels and Pneumatic Rod Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-claw base one by one, ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded and rotates flexibly. Flip the five-claw base so that the wheels face downward. Align the thicker end of the pneumatic rod vertically with the center hole of the five-claw base and gently press it until it is fully inserted. Pay attention to the direction of the pneumatic rod in this step; the thick end is the bottom, and the thin end is the top. Avoid installing it backward, which would prevent the seat from being raised or lowered.

II. Assembly of the Seat Base and Cushion Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the seat base (usually marked with a 'front' indicator or distinguished by curvature). Align it with the four screw holes on the cushion, and then use a screwdriver to screw in the screws one by one and tighten them. In this step, ensure that the seat base and the cushion are fully in contact, and the screws are tightened evenly to avoid looseness or abnormal noise during later use.

III. Connection of the Pneumatic Rod, Backrest, and Cushion Align the assembled cushion with the top of the pneumatic rod and insert it, ensuring that the top end of the pneumatic rod is fully embedded in the hole of the seat base. Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the armrest installation positions on both sides of the cushion. First, insert the bottom of the backrest, and then use two screws to pass through the holes from the bottom of the armrest bracket to fix the bottom of the backrest. Next, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the cushion bracket, and use two wrenches to tighten the screws (one hand holds the nut, and the other hand rotates the screw) to complete the locking of the backrest and the cushion. This step requires two-person collaboration or the use of tools to ensure that the backrest is vertical and stable.

IV. Installation of Armrests and Headrest Press the button below the armrest surface (some models require pressing the buckle), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. A 'click' sound indicates that they are properly installed. Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the headrest installation area to make it fit the curved surface of the backrest, and then screw in the screws through the headrest fixing buckles and tighten them to complete the fixation of the headrest. For some models, use a small hammer to lightly tap the cover to make it fit in, and then use a No. 3 screw to fix the armrests on the frame. Adjust the operation according to the specific model.

Precautions: Before installation, check the parts list to ensure that all screws, wrenches, and other tools are complete. Avoid using excessive force during assembly to prevent damage to the parts. After completion, check whether all parts are firmly installed and test whether the seat's raising, lowering, and rotating functions are normal.
