Office Chair Daily Cleaning
Daily cleaning of office chairs requires targeted methods based on different components and materials, as follows:

I. Caster Cleaning
- Hair Entanglement Handling: If the casters are entangled with hair, use small scissors to cut it off one by one, avoiding forceful pulling that could damage the wheels.
- Dirt Cleaning: Wet a used facial towel and let it air-dry until slightly damp. Wrap the textured side around the wheels, secure with a rubber band, and move the chair back and forth repeatedly to transfer dirt to the towel through friction. This method prevents rusting caused by direct water rinsing.
- Anti-Dirt Tips: Wrap the wheels with invisible tape, choosing tape of appropriate width and moderate stickiness that can adsorb dust without affecting usability due to excessive slipperiness. Regularly replacing the tape reduces dirt accumulation.
II. Seat Surface Cleaning
- Mesh Office Chairs:
- First, use a vacuum cleaner to remove surface dust and prevent stains from penetrating.
- Dilute a neutral cleaner in a 1:10 ratio and spray it on the seat surface, allowing it to sit for 5-10 minutes to decompose stains.
- Use a sauna machine or high-temperature cleaning machine to alternate between suction and washing at least twice, while using a water absorber to dry the moisture and prevent mildew caused by residue.
- After cleaning, cover with a breathable chair cover to reduce dust adhesion.
- Fabric Chairs: Gently wipe stained areas with a slightly damp towel. For heavier dirt, treat locally with a diluted cleaner, and be sure to dry with a dry towel after cleaning to prevent odors caused by dampness.
- Leather Chairs: Wipe away dust with a soft, dry towel. For stains, lightly wipe with a damp towel and immediately dry to prevent water from penetrating the leather and causing cracking. After cleaning, place in a well-ventilated area to air-dry naturally and avoid direct sunlight.
III. Overall Wiping Process
Wipe from top to bottom in the order of backrest, seat cushion, armrests, and legs. The cloth should be wrung until slightly damp and not dripping to avoid leaving water stains or causing metal parts to rust due to moisture. After wiping, use a dry towel for secondary water absorption to ensure the surface is dry.
IV. Solid Wood Chair Cleaning
Wipe dust along the wood grain with a dry towel and clean crevices with cotton swabs. For oil stains, apply a small amount of neutral cleaner, lightly wipe with a damp cloth, and immediately dry to prevent mildew or deformation caused by water penetration. After cleaning, apply special wood wax to the surface for maintenance.
