Office Chair Backrest Adjustment
Office chair backrest adjustment typically includes angle adjustment, height adjustment, and other adjustment methods, as detailed below:

Angle Adjustment: This is one of the most common methods for adjusting an office chair backrest. Generally, there is a knob or lever on the side of the seat. When angle adjustment is needed, simply pull or twist this knob or lever gently, and the backrest will tilt backward. Users can find a preferred angle based on their own needs and comfort, allowing the back to better conform to the curve of the backrest, thereby effectively reducing fatigue from prolonged sitting. Additionally, there is another operation method: users first sit on the office chair, then locate the adjustment handle, pull the handle, lean back slightly with their back, release the handle, and the backrest will be fixed at the corresponding angle; if they want to return the backrest to its original position, continue pulling the handle, apply a little force with the back, and the chair back will spring back.
Height Adjustment: Some office chair backrests have the function of moving up and down. During height adjustment, there is usually an adjustment lever on the back or side of the backrest. Users only need to pull up this adjustment lever to move the backrest up and down, adjusting it to a position where both the waist and back receive good support. An appropriate backrest height can provide effective support for the waist and back, reducing physical discomfort caused by incorrect sitting postures for long periods.
Other Adjustment-Related: In addition to the two common adjustment methods mentioned above, there are some other adjustment methods. For example, if you want to lay the backrest flat, there is usually a lever under the right armrest. By pulling this lever, you can achieve the operation of laying the backrest flat. Furthermore, some chairs have a forward-and-backward rocking function, and the rocking amplitude can be adjusted by rotating the thick black cylinder in front of the chair's gas lift left and right. Users can adjust to an appropriate rocking amplitude according to their own preferences and needs, increasing the comfort and flexibility of the sitting posture.
