Office Chair Back Beautification

Admin October 11, 2026

You can achieve shoulder opening, back muscle relaxation, shoulder muscle strengthening, and shoulder flexibility and stability training through the following simple exercises using an office chair:

Hands Interlocked Behind the Back: Sit on the chair with your legs together and your thighs perpendicular to the ground. At the same time, draw in your abdomen and ribs to keep your body stable and upright. Interlock your hands behind your back and try to lower your chest cavity. You will clearly feel your back muscles being stretched. This exercise helps open your shoulders, relieve shoulder tension caused by prolonged sitting, stretch your back muscles, and improve your back lines.

Palms Together with Wrist on the Chair: Bring your hands together in front of your chest and then place your wrists on the edge of the chair. Relax your shoulders. During this process, your shoulders will naturally sink, which can soothe your shoulder muscles, reduce shoulder pressure and fatigue, and is very effective in preventing and improving shoulder soreness.

Palms Together with Elbows on the Chair: First, bring your hands together. Then, place your elbows on the chair and make sure to keep your elbows close together. This exercise can strengthen your shoulder muscles. Through the action of keeping your elbows close together, it stimulates the muscle groups around your shoulders, enhances shoulder strength, and also helps improve shoulder stability, making your shoulders more flexible in daily activities.

Hands Hugging Opposite Elbows: Hug the elbow of the opposite side with each hand and try to keep your elbows close to your body. This exercise can further train the flexibility and stability of your shoulders. During the process of hugging your elbows tightly, your shoulders will move in multiple directions, which helps increase the range of motion of your shoulders, reduce shoulder stiffness, and shape more beautiful shoulder lines with long-term persistence.
