Office Chair Assembly Instructions
The steps for assembling an office chair combination are as follows:

Component Verification: After purchasing online, carefully verify the quantity of components. A typical swivel chair includes 1 backrest, 1 seat, 1 five-star base, 5 casters, 1 gas lift, 1 butterfly plate, 1 pair of armrests (2 pieces), several screws, and 1 headrest. If the backrest and seat are integrated, the quantity and type of screws may vary, and confirmation should be made based on the actual component list.
Caster Installation: Insert each of the 5 casters into the five leg holes of the five-star base. Due to non-standard specifications of some domestic casters, apply appropriate force during installation to ensure they are securely fastened and prevent them from coming loose during subsequent use.
Gas Lift and Bumper Installation: Invert the five-star base with the casters installed (casters facing upwards) and vertically insert the gas lift into the center hole of the five-star base. If the gas lift comes with a bumper, place the bumper over the bottom of the gas lift before insertion and then complete the installation.
Armrest Installation: Align the armrests with the three holes on each side of the seat, insert the screws, and initially tighten them. Avoid applying excessive force during installation; aim for a '90% tightness'. It is also recommended to install washers to distribute pressure and prevent the screws from loosening. If the armrests and seat are separate designs, ensure the holes are aligned before securing them.
Butterfly Plate Installation: Align the butterfly plate (the component connecting the seat to the gas lift) with the mounting position on the bottom of the seat and secure it with screws. This step requires careful operation to ensure the butterfly plate is fully flush with the seat and to prevent any rattling or wobbling during subsequent use.
Backrest Connection: If the backrest is a separate component, connect it to the seat or butterfly plate. Insert the screws after aligning the holes, and it is also recommended to install washers and tighten them to '90% tightness'. After installation, gently shake the backrest to check for stability.
Overall Assembly: Align the seat (with armrests and butterfly plate already installed) with the top of the gas lift and press down vertically to insert the gas lift into the center hole of the butterfly plate. Press down on the seat 3-5 times to ensure a tight connection; then gently lift the seat to check if it can rise and fall normally without any looseness.
Headrest Installation: Insert the headrest into the reserved hole at the top of the backrest and tighten the fixing screws. After installation, gently pat the headrest backward with your hand to check the tightness. If the headrest wobbles, retighten the screws until stable.
Safety Screw Installation: Some chairs have small screw holes at the bottom of the seat or at the backrest connection as a secondary fixing safety measure. Insert the corresponding screws and tighten them to avoid overlooking this step, which could lead to structural looseness.
Final Inspection: After installation, do not sit on the chair immediately. Hold the edges of the seat with both hands and shake the chair left, right, front, and back to check if all connection points are secure and free of any rattling. If any looseness is found, tighten the corresponding screws or reinstall them as needed.
Note: All washers must be installed properly. If washers are not provided with the components, find suitable materials (such as rubber sheets) as substitutes to enhance structural stability.
