Office Chair Anti-Explosion Installation

Admin October 12, 2026

The anti-explosion installation of office chairs requires targeted measures based on different types, with core steps including classified installation, reinforcement, and regular maintenance, as detailed below:

1. Installation of Computer Chairs with Anti-Explosion Chassis

These chairs require the use of four shortest screws. Before installation, classify the screws by length to avoid confusion. During installation, ensure all screws are fully tightened to secure the chassis firmly to the seat. The anti-explosion chassis reduces the risk of gas spring explosion by distributing pressure and enhancing structural strength. The tightness of the screws directly affects the anti-explosion performance and requires thorough inspection.

2. Adding Anti-Explosion Steel Plates to Adjustable Chairs

If adding an anti-explosion steel plate to an adjustable chair, measure the hole positions in advance to ensure the plate matches the chair's structure. Align the plate with the seat's fixing holes during installation and secure it with matching screws to prevent misalignment due to hole deviations. The anti-explosion steel plate provides physical isolation between the gas spring and the user, blocking explosive fragments. Ensure the plate is at least 3mm thick and made of Q235 steel for effective protection.

3. General Installation Process for Anti-Explosion Stools

  1. Determine Installation Location
Plan the installation point based on the usage scenario: For flammable and explosive areas, keep away from open flames, high-temperature equipment, and explosive material storage areas. Choose a flat, dry area without high-frequency vibrations. For mobile anti-explosion stools, ensure the placement area is flat and stable.

  2. Prepare Tools and Materials
Prepare tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills (if ground drilling is required), along with accessories like expansion screws and fixing nuts. Some brands include exclusive instructions; confirm material specifications in advance to avoid installation failures due to mismatched parts.

  3. Complete Fixed Installation
Move the stool to the predetermined location, adjust the angle to a horizontal position, and mark the fixing hole positions. If ground fixing is required, drill holes suitable for expansion screws using a drill, insert expansion tubes, align the stool's hole positions, and tighten the screws and nuts with tools to ensure the stool fits snugly against the supporting surface without wobbling.

  4. Verify Installation Effect
After installation, gently shake the stool to check stability and sit lightly to test load-bearing capacity. Confirm all fixing components are secure and the stool is not tilted. If loosening is found, retighten and reinforce to prevent anti-explosion function failure due to unstable connections.

  5. Regular Maintenance and Inspection
Regularly check the tightness of screws and connectors during daily use and clean the stool's surface stains. In high-humidity or corrosive environments, perform rust prevention treatments and regularly inspect for safety hazards to ensure the stool remains safe and usable.
