Nanjing Office Chair Management

Admin October 12, 2026

Nanjing has mainly adopted various measures such as public property warehouse management, green recycling management, and procurement management in office chair management.

Public Property Warehouse Management: The Nanjing Government Offices Administration utilizes assets from the public property warehouse to allocate office chairs and other office furniture to work teams such as the Industrial Breakthrough Promotion Office, achieving effective allocation of office resources. The Nanjing Public Security Bureau has innovatively created a model combining a 'physical warehouse + virtual warehouse' to centrally store office chairs and other assets that are idle or still have value after disposal. Through an online platform, these assets are aggregated and displayed, making business processing more convenient. The method of online inquiry and offline adjustment makes the assets in the warehouse, transfer situations, etc., publicly visible, and the storage status is announced in real-time, greatly improving the transparency and efficiency of asset management.

Green Recycling Management: The Nanjing Government Offices Administration has formulated and issued a green recycling management system for office equipment and furniture in administrative institutions and has opened up an implementation path of 'Internet + recycling'. A 'recycling and repair' module has been developed on the 'Qinweining' official account, providing an online reservation function. After completing asset disposal approval procedures, various administrative institutions can select appropriate recycling companies in this module. Recycling companies will provide door-to-door service within 7 working days, achieving 'no need to go out, just click, and easily handle' for the recycling of used office chairs and other items. This measure not only promotes the recycling of resources but also improves recycling efficiency and reduces recycling costs.

Procurement Management: Nanjing also has a strict management process for office chair procurement. For example, the Nanjing Medical Insurance Management Center once conducted an office desk and chair procurement project, but the project failed to be awarded because the number of suppliers submitting response documents by the response document submission deadline was less than three. This reflects the rigor and standardization of Nanjing in office chair procurement, ensuring a fair, just, and transparent procurement process.
