MySpace Office Chair

Admin October 08, 2026

MySpace is a new concept of office leisure chair designed by Azure Chen, a product designer from Shanghai, aiming to make the transition between different states during office work more natural.

Design Concept

The design concept of MySpace is based on the fact that people have various complex states during office work, including general concentration, high concentration, and complete relaxation. Traditional office chairs often struggle to meet the needs of these different states, while MySpace, through its unique design, enables users to transition more naturally and smoothly between these states. For example, in a general concentration state, the user's left and right lines of sight are not obstructed by the rear screen, allowing for easy interaction with the surrounding environment, which helps maintain social connections and information acquisition. When the user wishes to enter a more concentrated mode, they simply need to lean back, entering the effective range of the screen, which creates a private space exclusively for the user, reducing external distractions and enabling more focused work.

Structural Design

The seat and backrest of the chair adopt an integrated design, which emphasizes streamlined aesthetics. Not only is it more visually appealing and fashionable, but it also better conforms to the human body's curves, providing comfortable support. The rear screen uses PET, an acoustic-absorbing material, which has excellent sound-absorbing properties and can effectively reduce noise interference from the surrounding environment, creating a quiet working environment for the user. The shape of the screen resembles a helmet and is connected to the armrests of the seat via carbon steel tubes, ensuring both the stability of the screen and a more concise and reasonable overall chair structure.

Functional Features

The functional features of MySpace are mainly reflected in its ability to flexibly adjust its usage state according to user needs. Users can freely choose whether to enter the private space created by the screen based on their work state and requirements. This flexibility and adaptability enable MySpace to meet the office needs of different users in various scenarios, improving office efficiency and comfort.
